FFXIV Random Praise Thread: Time to melee RDM

Did some low lvl stuff last night with a fc member. Me war him mrd. Chim and the main scenario 8 man runs.

Both times he as mrd out dmged everyone and me as war main tank out dmged everyone but a full ilvl100 DRG who mostly ties or out did me by less than 1k lol. Win and fail I guess.


Almost fully melded i90 gear for the lulz as we have nothing to spend g on anymore

Just need my static to beat t8 and i can get my sand and my slaying wrist and i'll be complete on right side for melee. just got my HA neck last night so i'm done w/ mnk drops on t6 and 7 :D only going for drg drops now. Lol

I log on last night and figure I'm gonna go sightseeing. I look at my in-game clock and see 4:30PM. Cross-reference the spreadsheet and see that #18 is in Eastern Thanalan between 5:00 and 6:00PM. I teleport there and see a huge stack of people by the tree. 15 achievements proc and everyone is going nuts. "OMG I've been camping this for days". I don't see what was so hard about it? Took me like 5 minutes.

After tracking Eastern Thanalan weather for about a week now Rain happens once per RL day and moves about 1.5-2 hours later every day.

If this is true, this is awesome and exactly what I was talking about in the other thread. Content needs to be designed for 1 tank 1 healer 6 dps. In this case 2 healers but that makes sense too.

Linking items in chat is back! And oh dear god people are losing their minds now that linked items/text shows up as green/blue/purple etc.

The reason it was crashing people is because they were leaving the 2nd number as a 0. With the last patch that put the color of an item in chat, you need to change it to 1-8.

For anyone fishing for myth from beastmen quests, I just found out something nice. If you pick up all 3 quests from the 3rd tier guy, you can abandon whatever ones give Soldiery and you get your beastmen quest credits back. Sadly, the 3rd tier guy doesn't actually cycle quests, as soon as you abandon one, he'll just offer you the same quest(s) as before.
