I assume they were just using PF to list a recruitment message.
Do some servers really only use PF for actually fighting things? (i had a conversation about this with someone just a few days ago)

Last night during T8, my daughter (14mo old) woke and started crying. My wife started to go wife on me, so mid fight I jumped up ran to the other end of the house and got my daughter. Thought for sure my group would understand why we wiped.

I left during a Brain jack (I am the MT) came back and everyone was still alive and I was Brain jacked again. Sat down with my daughter in my lap just in time to pull the dread. If any DPS would have farted between GCDs they would have pulled hate but we went on to a smooth finish.

I asked the group over TS if they noticed I was AFK for almost a minute and every just acted confused. (obviously they had no idea)

Still 0 tank drops....

Question: In the opening video they have 6 characters. WHM, BRD, PLD, WAR and BLM. Louisoix was SCH, I assume. (Hell, his grandkids have arc books!) Who is the MNK, DRG and SMN? /annoyed

Mnk and Drg got cleaved by the first aoe, so they didn't live long enough to make the opening sequence. No Smn because it's one per class.

There's no SMN/SCH because it didn't exist in 1.0 (and they didn't want to tease it that early). Lou is likely a CNJ, given that he uses a staff. Don't tell me he's a SCH because of that Sacred Soil thing he does, because Y'shtola does it too and she's totally a CNJ. Lore NPCs always gonna break the molds.

I was just going to say 'budget cuts' for MNK/DRG, but I like the above explanation much better, lol.

They just ran out of races. It's one job per race.

Got an instant queue 2/3 Brayflox HM as DRG with everyone waiting at the boss. It was dead before 3rd add/big bomb phase without even getting a single LB bar.

Nobody on in FC. I'm happy with 15 min DR. I'm sure could do ~10 with FC BLM + BRD + WHM but like, that's a lot of work and would then just do brayflox anyway.

So just recently got back and have been leveling up SMN/SCH, I never knew the challenge log reset weekly lol. Got one of the challenges and 73k exp last night and went "o_O!".

I have a system of when to do roulettes at the start of the week to make sure I get the two dungeon and two guildhest bonuses on jobs that need exp.
