What were you fighting him on? WHM/BLM? Every other job can either stun or silence Stoneskin (and even WHM can, if Fluid Aura knocks him back or a well-timed holy). He can only attempt to SS once every 30+ seconds. People that complain about that FATE generally have only themselves to blame.

Do people still not realize the HP of a fate's enemy/enemies are based off the amount of people that did it last time it popped? If there were 5+ people at an NM fate last time, good luck ever soloing it in a reasonable amount of time. While atma grinding, any time 3 or more people showed up for Bubbly Bernie, I would just let the next one time out because he would take at least 8 minutes to kill unless people helped out.

This is how GW does it and how it should be. Fates would be so much more awesome if they scaled HP/Difficulty based on number of people actually there. The number of people at previous thing is stupid imo, I dont see how that relates to the next time it pops at all.

seems DF is getting hte hang of HM at least. I tend to one shot everything even titan now.... Garuda iv seen as short as 1 set of sisters with a DF and LBing her in the center for win before second set LOL

Best DF I've had was as we walk her through to the center she was dead before we had to move into the eye of the storm. I was happy to be in and out that fast. Other tank was like a 4.4k pld so I took everything upon myself so blm's double flared while holding them all at once, healers were on point.

last time i did this on Trial Roulette, she died before the 2nd set.

Works in reverse: Doesn't help the group scales down (say, at the end of a night when people start to leave and there's like, 5 people trying to do Super FATEs) but it sure as hell is nice when you're out doing dailies and something spawns on you. I did Tail of a Whale solo and things were melting to just my paladin and my derps chocobo. Had it happen at the one with the reavers for the daily item, too: Only had to kill 4 of the trash to spawn the boss and he went down in maybe three minutes solo.

Yeah I've had her 3 times in 2 weeks. Two attempts were dead before 2nd set, 1 was a wipe then dead right after them. Not too bad overall.

Yeah, good fortune with trial roulette to date. It's usually a 1 shot, though 1 group did wipe on titan once before clearing. Last night's titan was close though...only me and the other SCH, the tank and 1 bard could stay alive. But the team pulled through!

I actually had like a 4:30 titan HM with not a single death the other night for my DR. Was shocked as fuck.
