Just did an Expert DR Brayflox with Day (i110 bow) so I do the big first pull as usual. Notice BLM is doing some manner of fire 2 > blizz 2 > fire 2 > repeat so I politely tell him to try the proper BLM rotation on next big pull and not only did he not "It's my $13.95" me, he agreed and did it!

Did it on the next big-ish pull following that too, shit died so much faster. Then, turned out to be his first clear and he still LBed the boss at the proper time like we told him.

Yup there is some out there that just don't have the knowledge, it is rare but they do exist. Had to do some last minute Soldy runs on my alt, got a "fire 2...bliz 3" mage, normally thats an auto kickin but I figure this late in the week I would have to associate with casual riff raff whether I like it or not. I just have a macro now for a proper blm aoe rotation, it truly is an epidemic, but alas everyone is tight lipped and our run is basically my i92 blm doing 1500 vs his 600 or less on his i99. I figure the healer and tank where thinking the same as they were both pretty good but just sucked it up.

Though if I wasn't a learned blm I would have no idea who was and was not pulling his weight, this bugs me on a personal level as there is no metric in game that is visible for dps to be gauged. So instead of us seeing me basically solo'ing the dungeon, we get painted with "dps sucks, shit dying slow".

Yeah I've had her 3 times in 2 weeks. Two attempts were dead before 2nd set, 1 was a wipe then dead right after them. Not too bad overall.

Yep, I'm spoilt by my Japanese DF pool, but she's gets Chuck Norris'd during the first Satin Plume phase pretty regularly now.

To be fair, I'd much rather DF something I have no knowledge of than PF. The lockout time generally prevents someone from ragequitting after 1-2 attempts, so you can actually get some attempts and advice, and if you completely shit the bed, at least you're likely with people from other servers who won't be able to remember you.

That's not true. You have to kick someone to have the 4 hour lock out.

I did back to back vote kicks on a pld 2 days back. First was no, after another min I re did the vote kick.

that's what PF is for. the community is too vast for that expectation out of DF, if that offends you grow a thicker skin.

Unfortuately the trial roulette draws from DF pools. You get a mix of people trying to learn something outside of PF and the people who just want to win to get their money/myth/soldiery. DF is the right choice for EX Primals and Coil 1, but I still feel you should have the remotest of clues before just flagging for a fight like that.
