Even if it wasn't going down, I generally only put T4 in the first slot and I still have like a dozen cracked4.
Oh cool, I didn't know about that.
Onion armor > Darklight cuirass, yes? I imagine the 5STR outweighs 18DTR; also allows me to be Coil-ready without needing any mythology gear whatsoever.
Just barely, as 1 str is roughly equivalent to 4.5 determination I believe. If you need the accuracy, then absolutely. Also, more vit never hurts
I'm having an issue with Blood for blood and wondering if anyone else is too. I'll use it, it will go on cooldown, but I don't receive the effect from the skill... It has happened a few times. So is anyone else having this happen?
It can happen with any skill, some people seem to encounter the problem more than others.
So now Fracture is undeniably a DPS loss if you use it instead of your basic combo, but I was talking with a DRG and he says he still uses Fracture, but only if he has something like 3 seconds left on Heavy Thrust IE he values the Heavy Thrust buff so instead of beginning a basic combo and having Heavy Thrust wear off halfway through it, he instead uses Fracture and then puts Heavy Thrust back up as soon as it drops (assuming Phlebotomize is still up obviously). Any comments on that?
Yeah, if I end up with extra time like that I'll burn a Jump or just start the next round with an early Heavy Thrust. Never have liked Fracture and would've rather something else in its slot.
Instead of fracture I occasionally change that slot with random skills to mess around with while doing dailies and whatnot. Fracture sucks.
Thing is, the use for Fracture was to give yourself space to keep Chaos Thrust from clipping and not re-applying. From what I've seen now though, is even if you clip CT by 1 or 2 tics, that is still better DPS than using Fracture (i.e. you are getting back to your other combos quicker).
Anyone else still finding jumps hard to use in fights with dangerous AoE's? While the animation is shorter I still feel as though i'm locked for almost the same amount of time I was before, leaving them almost if not completely useless of fights like Titan X. I'm a bit torn as it feels like a huge DPS lose to not use them at all on fights of that nature, but dying is an even bigger lose.
Yup, I only use jump in Titan XM at the start of tumults.
The animation lock is definitely greatly reduced, but having to use Power Surge (I think most people macro them together) still makes it somewhat cumbersome.
(I've said before they should just get rid of that ability and replace it with something not so totally bland)
You're locked for a lesser amount of time but proper use is still the same: don't jump when you know you'll need to move soon.
The best thing one can do is fire off Power Surge 1 to 2 GCDs before you plan to jump. (Not doing that probably negates a lot of the DPS you would have gained.) Of course that makes it even harder to try and plan ahead for when it will be safe to jump in some encounters, but it's not impossible. If there's no other choice, I'd suggest jumping without Power Surge rather than trying to squeeze both of them in on a single OGDC slot.
