Whose weapon is better pre-Relic? Ifrit or Garuda?
Also, what would be the "minimum" gear requirements for Titan HM?

Has anyone compiled a bis list anywhere? I have an idea of which allagan is better than af2 but there are so many accessory choices.
There's a list in the rotation reborn thread on the OF. It's based on hitting 470 accuracy for coil, not just raw damage.
Garuda's weapon is better by far, weapon damage means so much in this game.
I -think- you need at least 3k health for Titan. Not sure if a full set of AK gear would accomplish this, probably not. Don't think I did it until I had full DL.
edit: There is always food though for more HP, but damage is obviously important too to get the heart down in time. >.> I prefer to just overgear things to eliminate as much chance of failure as possible, I'm sure you can do this fight with less gear, but if everyone was barely meeting the requirements, you're probably not going to have a good time.
Er, pretty sure DRG/MNK have more than 3k HP in just AF.
Not that you should be wearing AF, just that 3k isn't at all hard to come by on a melee.
I had well over 3k HP using nothing but ifrit lance, AK gear, and some HQ militia/imperial operative gear.
No reason not to hit 3.4k or so on DRG to let you eat a bomb, ideally it'll never happen but if you're new to the fight it's nice to have the option.
I have 5k hp on my drg in group no clue where such low hp numbers are coming from but I don't recall it ever being that low even with AF.
As for gear, I'd say AK gear and a primal weapon would be decent enough. Titan isn't as much about being geared as it is on learning to dodge things correctly. Learn the fight and it goes down super easy. The only real challenge sometimes can be not having people with enough dps for the heart but even then if you guys are low on dps you can save up a Limit Break for the heart.
You must dabble in some sorcery.
Spoiler: show
It could be a matter of buffed vs unbuffed. I always have a lot more HP in groups than solo (dat vit buff presumably).
While you don't really need the best gear DPS wise for the fight, some upgrades help with the extra vit simply because later in the fight you can get so many consecutive tumults that the extra HP buffer makes it easier to survive. Same reason that it can be so difficult to rezz (and keep alive) people during Titan.
Biggest piece of advice for any DRG on primal in general is be really careful with jumps and their stupid animation lock!
The VIT buff isn't that huge. On BLM (~3k) it only bumps me up ~+100.
edit: 200>208 base VIT with 1 PLD.
88>90 STR with 1 MNK
204>210 DEX with 2 BRD
you get the idea, don't know if it stacks with more of a job but *shrug*
Sorry for the low HP estimates that DRG has, I was mostly just answering based on the experience in things I've played which is just SMN and BLM. >.> I just assumed all jobs had similar HP (I guess it makes sense that DRG and MNK have more though since they will generally have to eat any whirlwind type moves bosses have). However, higher item level gear would mean more damage as long as you know what you're doing which would make Titan much easier. And obviously, knowing the fight and how to avoid mechanics is almost more important than gear anyways.
4057 HP with Relic+1, DL/AF2 as a Lalafell.
I actually pulled up full DL and full AF2 (with a lvl90 belt) in a side-by-side on XIVDB, full AF2 would give you 45 more VIT, or ~675 HP.
I believe the party bonus for stats is +12, so another 180 HP there, add in 15 VIT from food (another 200) and you could theoretically break 5k.
Great gear (HQ melded ilv70 accessories, full ilv90 main slots, etc) on a drg with PT bonus and food will be around 5700 hp. We have somebody in my coil group that's just about there, needs to finish his jewelry is all.
Since everyone here said Fracture sucks, what should I have as my 5th cross class ability? Assuming the first four are Internal Release, Bloodbath, Second Wind, and Featherfoot.
I have mercy stroke on there just because i can't think of anything else
Mantra is......I don't want to say nice but throw it out after the party eats an AoE, it does something at least.
Yeah Mercy Stroke is what I took.
Mantra should replace Featherfoot if you have the willpower to grind MNK to 42 (F that)
