the weapon was deemed as an AF weapon in 1.0. In JP version it is purely named as "Artifact weapon" but in NA it was called "A relic reborn"

Hell it was expensive in 1.0 and ifrit extreme was tricky (for your first relic) but its a complete joke to get in ARR now. its cheap, its 100% to meld quests r all easy up to titan

Titan is new in ARR no one knew anything about it in 1.0 so its "difficult". people also have diff priorities atm, some doing story quests, some or all lvling arcanist (legacy players) and not everyone really give a damn abt titan/coil yet on my server

once titan is tested/experienced vigorously by the general community, this "AF weapon" quest is just going to be a joke

so dont worry :D

It didnt help we had one bad random person in our group that wasnt doing much damage at all and was getting hit by everything. I think we could of beaten him as we were figuring him out since it was most of our first time on hard mode =\

I wish you could replace people in duty finder primal fights... I guess I should just start shouting for a server only party. Getting so tired of people finally understanding fight mechanics and one person leaving.

been sitting outside halatali waiting for hydra on mnk for a while .-. no FC sucks

Same boat right now. Chimera wasn't so bad. Sat outside the spawn and finally a PUG Jp group got me. We wiped a few times because of someone failing to stun rams voice but we got it done. I like that I can log on the JP servers and actually love playing with jp since they're usually better players, but dammit I need a FC that does endgame.

Tried Chimera in a pug today was full of people who stood in stuff, missed stuns, didn't move away from other people when they got the lightning orb on them, didn't move when I was pulling Chimera away from the ice would rather stay in it and die.

The encounter is really simple if you ever played anything like WoW has such basic easy mechanics but when you got people who aren't use to moving out of stuff its like bashing your head into a wall.

I mean, to be honest, I still get hit by the ice aoe from time to time or when it gets moving around too much ;/ But other stuff shouldn't really hit you. And that whm we had? ._. First couple of runs she would get hit by the first conal, lol. And almost every one after that

Actually had to heal her more than you.

Trying to unlock Ifrit (Hard), I have the quest to attune to the aetheryte in Zahar'ak and when I do, it says quest complete and Hard mode is now available, but it doesn't update my duty finder nor does it complete the quest. Am I derping out here or wtfunk?

Edit: Derped out, inventory was full. Will leave this here in case anyone else is dumb enough not to notice like I did

Hydra fight is so overly simple yet PUGs keep dying it makes me lose faith, my FC is basically 95% new players and the other 4% is chilling around, I've got only someone else besides me that is doing this.

Tried ifrit hard mode in the mean time while a PUG pops up, same shit, even I, that I have like 200-300ms latency and sometimes I get hit by AoEs for no reason don't mess up that bad.

I just want to get hydra out of the way at least, I can hope to get a good group with duty finder sometime, but gathering 6-7 other people willing/able to do this and not being a total failure is proving to be an astounding feat so far.

For Hydra do you need to have the unfinished relic equipped or can you use another weapon/switch jobs? The quest says you need it equipped in the wording but I have a group asking for a whm or tank...

So couple of questions,

They had said that you would "be at" a similar step in relic completion depending on where you were at in the quest in V1. Now that there's no Hamlet seals, what is the equivalent to being at the double meld part?

Or they just reset everyone to step 1?

If you were at hamlet then yeah probably start back at start (not like it's hard)
