Odin/behemoth fates

After trying Behe once I can safely say I'm not going to attempt it ever again until something is changed.

If I ever catch an Odin fight while I'm on I'll give it a try but I expect my experience will be much the same, possibly a bit better since he spawns in random locations and is probably less likely to be mobbed by as many people, but I'm not holding my breath.

Odin is marginally less annoying because he has the decency to not spam one-shot AoE that you can't see until Zantetsuken.

Just did Odin a few hours ago. We beat him, but only because everyone spammed AoE's.

I swear, Odin took some Ninja training.

Add in a hundred or so smn/sch tossing in that bubble + bards fire on the ground, while blm's spam blizz2 and whm's spam holy, and you got a downed server...! (hell all I could load was the sch bubbles!)

And people sending their chocobos in <_< Seriously I shouldn't be seeing pets before the main NM, they really need to change the display priority. I hope both Odin and Behemoth get some sort of instanced fight at some point, they're wasted in FATE.

I thought Odin was terrible. Fuck, Behemoth ramped it up to eleven. Randomly taking 5k damage from nothing is not fucking fun.

Odin and Behemoth are literally unplayable. I can't even get Gold on these FATEs because I can't see them 90% of the time. Not even putting them as a Focus Target works.

Having observed an Odin fight a few days ago...I wonder if they were trying to make a worse version of land kings. "FFXI only one group can attack the Behemoth...FUCK IT, EVERYONE CAN ATTACK IT! PROBLEM SOLVED!"

The items that you can get aren't even good. They're worthless until they release a cosmetic set/wardrobe function (stats are about the same as AF gear) and you can't even afk in town in your fancy Odin armor because you'll get kicked in 30m! So it isn't even that rewarding to sit there through the frustrating lagfest and hope to get gold.

It's worthless content honestly. The servers can't handle it properly and the game sure as hell can't give the desired experience with half the server in one map grid.

Same mistakes Asian MMO have been doing for years. Aion, Tera, GW2, and now FF14; I don't think anyone has ever gotten it right and I don't know why developers keep trying to to do this BS.

Alot of the problems with XIV root back to them problem: Yoshida and co. severely underestimated the number of people that would play the game.

I'll just wait for the crowds to clear from these events so I can actually enjoy Odin/Behemoth.

"this will be an instance fight next year" because like you said its wasted in open world it really is..

Chocobo companions need to be banned from FATEs. Period.

Did behemoth last night, I can see why people get pissed at lvl 40's rushing in lol. such a waste.
