Simplifying targeting while using the controller

Ok I don't quite understand this. You can switch the targeting mode to toggle instead of hold? How does one do that? (and target via R1?)

Also, since this has sort of become a general controller topic (not that that is a bad thing) how do I move hotbars OFF the hotbar cycling function? Like right everytime I tap R2 I switch between hotbars. That's fine and all, but I only want to switch between hotbars 1 and 2, not all of them. How do I do this?

Just tick ones you want to toggle between. Option above should pick which ones you want to toggle through when out of combat.
