How well do I have to be geared as a healer for Titan? I have Full AK healer set and full DL accessories with Garuda weapon.

That's plenty imo. Healing is much less gear intensive, you just need to pick up on his attack pattern to know when to burst heal (and dodge ofc). Common/easy strat is using 3 healers too which adds more leniency to you if you go that route. During the last phase of the fight he'll use a skill that does 4-5k damage (before any reductions). I got hit for 4.2k + 1.6k auto-attack crit at one point so you need to be on the ball with heals for that (though any decent tank will be mitigating as much as they can), but aside from that the damage felt pretty slow and steady. All the big hitters are avoidable and the unavoidable aoe stomps don't get too crazy until the end.
If you're a SCH, pre-shielding the tank prior to Mountain Buster & pre-shielding the raid before Tumult will help your group out a lot. Even better if you can drop a Sacred Soil on top of pre-shielding with Succor if you group stacks for the stomps.
Finally downed this today. It's annoying how easy the fight is so long as you have 3 healers and a decent tank. I think we wiped two times and then beat him. It's a small step up from ifrit skill wise and really only requires the group to memorize the patterns and have good gear. Proper placement during the bombs after heart and spreading out for plumes should result in zero damage taken for everyone except for tumult.
Has three healers really become the standard? I keep hearing about groups taking three.

i personally don't like 3 healer either but i've heard a lot of people using it so idk
3 healers is for undergeared groups
Well it sounds dumb when you put it like that lol. But the fact is if you run a DF you usually get someone in there that goes "What do I need to know?" or gets hit by burst or plumes a lot. And that one person ruins it all. Three healers makes it easy because all of the groups I've been in have failed on the healing end before anything else(not dd getting hit by plumes/etc). You get 8 people that actually read about the fight and have the rotations on the screen for reference, plus three healers so you aren't running out of mp or not topping the tank off for mountain buster and that should be an easy win. It's really all about the healing.
3 Healers is fine for a group who is learning/slightly undergeared. Once everyone has positioning/timing/patterns down though there is no reason for the third healer.
I could absolutely see 5 dps 2 heals and 1 tank the ideal set up. Maybe even 6 dps 1 heal 1 tank if the healer was very good. The problem on my server is actually finding good healers. They just aren't around. I think we saw 3-4 tumults after we downed the heart before titan died. If you increased the dps this fight could be insanely fast.
1 Healer is feasible if everyone is 100% on their game and gets hit by nothing. I solo healed from 90% to death one time but it was only due to a lag issue causing one healer to get knocked off which even called for it. I would not do it by choice though, lol.
You gonna need some Ballad in there then. It's sad that three healers has become a standard. Bads gonna bad though.
