Nope. From the perspective of WHM and PLD, I have only a couple cooldowns to worry about as WHM, but as a tank, I have to make sure to manage about six or so, making sure they'll be up again when needed. Healing is by far easier. Top off tank for Buster, precast aoe heals for stomps/jumps/2hr. Heal dps who manage to get themselves hit.
I'll be sure to let you know how SCH goes when it's time for my 3rd relic.
Cooldowns have nothing to do with difficulty.
Not that this fight is very difficult, but a large portion of this game's fights are based on movement and positioning. When you're trying to argue that the role that literally stands still popping cooldowns is the hardest one...
No way, having to pop a CD every time a buster is coming is obviously far harder than you could possibly comprehend. Shit's comparatively a joke as a tank and you're a joke if you honestly try to claim otherwise. But let's be real here, assuming no latency fucking you over this fight is anything but hard regardless of role. The only thing that should honestly ever hit you aside from stomps is a stray plume which hits my MNK for a whopping 2,000-2,500 damage. I ate 2 during an LB once and still lived through it, if one hitting you is a problem I'd say there's some larger issues at work.

You really are stupid. Wow...just, wow. PLD you literally spam Halone combos, stand on the edge and use a CD before buster. You can't make sure they're up again when needed, that's what a timer is. It'll be up when it's up, you can't control that. The fact you have to dodge on DPS/Healer makes it harder than tanking.

Is brd atm like pre nerf rng from 11? Just broken damage wise and superior than the other dps jobs? Or is this just a misconception?
I can't decide between either job, I don't "like" one more than the other. Guess i'm looking for functionality. (maybe drg darklight gear will be shared by drk if drk is ever put in the game????)

BRD is easy to play and being ranged with no cast bars gives it flexibility, but in a straight DPS race it definitely won't win.
Very little in this game is a straight DPS race.
Melees are perpetually at a disadvantage having to move around the mob and stay within melee range, this only becomes more and more apparent as content gets harder.
When you get to the coil and no one wants to bring more than 1 melee because they're nothing but a liability (and they really are) the problem becomes painfully obvious.
