excuse me you only have one relic so your opinion is moot
I'm speaking of the majority of the player base, not the world/server first elites, or even the well experienced playerbase in general.
For the majority of players venturing into Coil they're going to want the simplest setups possible with the smallest potential for fuckups, and BRD is the simplest DD out there.
I can agree with that, fair enough.
HOLY FUCK, we were just taking randoms into the titan fight to finish their relics, and we get a couple and go in, and the game loads the instance, get the full party message, and the cutscene starts.
I click skip the cutscene, the game loads, AND FUCKING TITAN IS STANDING DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF US, AND HE LANDSLIDES THE ENTIRE GROUP WHILE WERE STILL IN THE INSTANCE CIRCLE, SO WE CAN'T EVEN DODGE!
He killed 4 of us, and we recovered, and still won lmao... was crazy shit...
gg se... can't beat this
Hahahahaha
did you have a smn/sch in the group who positioned their pet near titan on a previous attempt? because after having this happen on garuda we tested by having a sch leave eos sitting on top of where garuda spawns before zoning out and she was wailing on us when we zoned in the next time.
When I first got to Ifrit I was spamming it for SCH book and realized that glitch. It became a fun game to surprise groups with it.
I think I had a similar experience in AK earlier, twice during the run, while we were fighting mobs, I see the SCH pet run past me and back to the SCH while being chased by mobs.
There's a spot where you can literally stand the entire fight and never move. Every role and job has rotations, tank just has to use his usual attacks and maybe use their damage reduction for Mountain Buster. Outside of Mountain Buster, which is mostly the healer's responsibility anyways, there's nothing special about tanking Titan. Tanks can literally stand in one spot, spam enmity attacks, and do nothing else and be fine if their healers don't suck.
ITT: You're only correct if you have more relics than the next person.
The only times I've seen a Tank die that was his fault was a bomb->table flip, and usually that's due to bad luck with bomb placement. On the other hand I've seen healers die many, many times.
I honestly don't understand how you can think not having to deal with plumes is harder than having to deal with plumes.
