I don't see how Cure III could possibly be efficient, ever. The positioning requirement is too high.

The AoE range is only 5y.
There's no way of making that efficient for Titan. Medica II has a great range, plenty of healing, etc.
Even if you get a group that's coordinated enough to gather for Cure IIIs all the time, the tank won't be getting it, and you end up having to heal them separately which is also silly.

We're talking about jumps/AF here, when people would be gathered enough to get hit by Cure III.

My point is it's still not worth using even then.

Oh, in that case, maybe? It's not that big of a rush to get people cured. I throw out a Succor, WHM buddy does a Medica or Medica II.
Nobody except the tank is going to be getting hit anytime soon, time isn't a big issue and jumps don't do much damage.

Divine Seal buffing Medica 2 is going to be the best way to go unless you have over Overcure and everyone literally on top of each other. The range is big killer Cure 3 as I've missed people standing at what I thought had to be close enough.

Between a Divine Seal buffed Medica 2 and Regen, the tank will too off of ticks or be close to it.

Seen SS with someone done it on solo SCH before, but your DPS has to be very good at avoiding AoE. They also popped tank LB instead of DD LB.

Is there a major benefit to baiting Landslide after Titan's heart phase is over? I find myself having a wee bit of a hard time when we're farming it because I'm kinda screwed if I go to the wrong side of the middle row of line bombs as that's where we're baiting landslide, and the yeah, they'l obviously explode before I get an opportunity to run to the safer row. Which, by the way, I think is completely my fault and not the fault of the group I run it with for insisting on baiting the line. I understand why, but, uguu, it's just a headache for me atm because I am not used to doing it in this manner. I suppose less chaos during this "stressful" phase is for the best of everyone.

You only need to bait landslide on the line formation when the last row appears where Titan is. Wait in the middle row for the landslide line to appear and then move to either "safe" corner on the last row, go back to middle right when you see landslide/middle bombs hit (which they do at the same time). If you don't do that you might get a landslide pointed to the "safe" spots, making someone take either the landslide or one of the middle row bombs.

If the last row doesn't appear on top of the boss you can just move to it as soon as you are able to, although I'd say first moving to the middle bomb of said row is safer as when you see the landslide line you can move to either side before moving to the middle row.

I have people wanting to bait the line during the vertical set of lines, hehe. The horizontal line bombs are totally easy to deal with, and I understand the benefit to baiting the line when it's that setup we're going with. I just have a headache with the vertical lines.

    Thanks for responding.

Behold... the power of paint! Just because I haven't seen this properly explained in picture form anywhere yet. And it irks me when I get bombed because someone lured landslide on the safe corners. :<

Also remember that the area in the very middle of a 'square' of bombs is also safe, the bombs have a fairly small range when they explode.

I always just nudge myself to right outside the blue lines when landslide+bombs does tricky things. I can't imagine any situation where getting hit by the bombs or landslide isn't your own fault for not moving correctly. (Latency issues not withstanding of course.) A lot of people don't seem to realize running through Titan is actually an option.

Pretty much the only thing I can understand getting hit by is weight of the land. But you still shouldn't get hit by more than one, and therefore should still be alive.

It just might be a problem when the last row of bombs pops next to Titan. If someone moves to the corners that are supposed to be free and landslide gets pointed where you were about to go to avoid bombs you can either walk through landslide and hopefully make it to the other side (which makes it likely for you to get hit by it even if you get to the other side before the animation finishes, on my connection at least) or stand right before it and risk getting hit by the first row of bombs.

I did not know that the range of the bombs allows you to stand in the center of the grid's cells and clear them. I definitely want to try that out, although I'm not sure how forgiving it might be if you don't guess the middle precisely enough.

The way to avoid them that I'm suggesting has the advantage of being completely predictable (provided everyone follows it), as you can know at all times where landslide will be pointed to, making it feasible to avoid bombs and landslide reliably even if someone has noticeable delays (which used to be my case, as discussed in some thread around here about EU lag).

I guess if you have latency problems then planning ahead if very helpful. I'm still having trouble picturing the situation you're describing though lol. To me it just sounds like a situation where he landslides everyone as their running towards the bombs that just exploded, where'd I just keep running and easily avoid it. Or is it the one where he landslides before the bombs explode and you have to move away from the landslide without moving too close to the bombs that are just about to explode?

Baiting landslides like that is just adding another layer of potential issues to the entire thing. There's plenty of room to avoid landslide in even the most awkward positioning. FYI: you can step back in to the landslide ground marker the moment it begins to fade.

That's the one time I still occasionally get into a bad position, when dodging the landslide the wrong way puts me too close to a bomb.

Even this shouldn't be an issue unless for some reason you are severely overshooting your avoidance (ie, running further than required to avoid LS). You can move in to the middle bombs range to dodge LS then move back well before they explode. As I said, as soon as the ground marker starts to fade is when its safe to step back through the Landslide.

And the blue lines are the official width of effect, right?

Aye, just take a step outside the blue lines then run back through when the attack actually begins (when they start to fade). Should help remedy avoidance problems.

If all else fails, it's not unsafe to run through/behind/near Titan if you have nowhere else to go. He's not gonna cleave until well after first bombs/landslide.

I wasn't really expecting a discussion on this, lol.

I don't think landslide luring is needed, except when the last set bombs pop on Titan's edge (as explained on my post prior to the drawing which I tried to complement). I do think it's extremely helpful when it's the case, from my experience at least.

I somehow cannot see how moving to the last row, moving away to avoid landslide, moving back in to avoid middle row and moving away again to avoid last row leaves less room for error than just moving away from landslide to last row and getting back to the middle row... Also, I'd be worried about getting hit by middle bombs because of timing and latency if you do that.
