    Took us 3 trial to get it right.
    First time... Unexpected the latency screwed up... Tank was of his AOE knock back zone but still got hit
    Second time... It was me and healer got knock off
    Third time we decided to keep on running around circle Center at him, of course a bit annoying for caster, but ok for physical melee and tank.
    So his knock back never hit us and we got it.

    Btw, this is MSQ only, of course not the hard mode!!

    Our strategy on the easy mode was for everyone to be on the opposite side of the tank (barring any position requirements for DDs) so when he enters into Landslide, it takes Titan a while to turn and initiate the maneuver (if not on tank), thus giving everyone ample time to react. Not sure what it is like on hard mode, however.

    Anyone running hard mode with two SCH? Seems all the groups I get now are 2x SCH and after earthen fury they can't heal up fast enough to keep tumult from killing half the group.

    Titan Hard is starting to rustle my jimmies, SE needs to fix the AoE lag or whatever it is asap, if you're out of the area before shit explodes, it SHOULDN'T hit you, not just "sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't" bullshit, I find myself praying it doesn't hit me everytime he does his ground AoE under me.

    Same exact thing that's causing us trouble. All it takes is a single person to have a single bit of latency and die and it's over. Extremely frustrating.

    What I don't know if this is related to the servers being in NA while playing from EU or it's happening to everybody, I've seen youtube vids where people avoid everything so easily it baffles me, they seem to have so much more room to avoid them, it's like I'm playing on superduper extreme difficulty or something instead of just hard.

    Playing on JP servers from EST and I can say it's really making the battle more difficult than it needs to be. He does a pattern that changes every time he jumps in the air, so you know what's going to happen every time he does something. However the issue is WHERE the wrath of the land will spawn. Sometimes it spawns quick and you have all the time in the world to get away, other times it pops and explodes right away. Sometimes I'm out of the aoe and start to cast but get hit anyway. It really is unfair. I've also be out of the way of landslide and begin to cast only to take damage but not receive the knock back. If latency was going to be such a big deal they should have told us before P4 when we could world transfer. Or make a bit more of a window to get out of the way.

    This so much, sometimes you have plenty of room, then the next round exploded in a much shorter period of time, it's completely random.

    Also, hate the damn "stop 2-4 secs and then fast forward to catch up" bullshit, I've been hit by landslide a few times because of that.

    one pug I joined the tank told us all just to auto attack until we had 2 lb bars built up then dps as normal so we'd have lv3 for heart, is that how most successful static groups are doing it? or just powering through heart with whatever lb (2?) you have by heart?

    Haven't used LB for the Heart, DPS can power through without.

    Usually use lv2 LB for the heart on the runs I've been in. Mostly because I can't go full dps balls to the walls due to latency and not wanting to get hit by wrath of the land. If latency wasn't such a bitch it'd be easy to dps down without the LB. In fact if latency wasn't such a huge problem with this fight it would hardly be a step up from ifrit Right now after he uses landslide/tumult(depending what phase he's in) I wait like 2-3s then start running away from people so when WotL pops I'm already halfway out of it.

    As a west-coast player, the lag and latency issues are really screwing me up in this fight. I'm glad to see I'm not alone in that, because there are times I'm positive I've been 2-3 steps away and still get hit, other times I feel like I should have been hit yet somehow dodged it. Glad to see I'm not alone in this.

    Was on west coast VPN due to my 90k problems and kept getting hit by wrath or landslide guess I'm not that bad then

    After attempting the hard mode fight with my FC for a bit, I've figured out his ability pattern after the heart dies. If you can anticipate the abilities before they happen, it makes the fight a lot easier to deal with for those with a higher latency.

    His pattern after the astral flow is: mountain buster, stomp, weight of the land, bombs, landslide(during the bombs), mountain buster, weight of the land, encase somebody in the rock, landslide, repeat from the beginning.

    The tank must be topped off before mountain buster lands, and they should pop a defensive ability before it happens. If everyone but the tank is grouped up in one area and begins to escape weight of the land before it is actually planted, there is more time for everyone to escape it. He also seems to stomp for progressively more times as the fight goes on, this also might be based off of his health%.

    IMO using the LB to kill the heart is unnecessary. You have 60 seconds to kill the heart before he astral flows. If your DPS is good enough, you can kill it with time to spare and save the LB for something else.
