I didn't get what happened with Caputo at the end. He does a complete 180 on everything we've seen of him up to that point. It felt like a cheap dramatic heel turn just to set up the cliffhanger.

He knew it wasn't the guard's fault and was struggling with the PR move big prison was wanting him to do; plus he knows that guard is one of the "good guys" in his prison. He also knew the prisoner wasn't at fault either, so she didn't blame the victim like big prison also wanted him to do. It's not his fault the prisoners saw it another way.

We're back again. Did you miss us? Of course, you did. We're willing to bet Netflix did as well. Speaking of which, Netflix clearly received our message considering they've made public statements and was one of the first people to download a fresh copy of their own property (Hello, 69.53.235.76!) - yet they continue to remain unresponsive. With this information in mind (and the fact that leaving people on cliffhangers isn't fun) we've decided to release Episodes 2-10 of "Orange Is The New Black" Season 5 after many lengthy discussions at the office where alcohol was present. Do note that there are 13 episodes. However, we were so early when we acquired the copies that post hadn't gotten around to Episodes 11-13. Perhaps Netflix will consider releasing the season earlier now that the cat's out of the bag?

We're not quite done yet, though. We're calling you out: ABC, National Geographic, Fox, IFC, and of course Netflix, still. There's more Netflix on the feasting menu soon (in addition to the other studios, of course), but we'll get to that later. Enjoy the fruits of _our_ labour

This pretty much summs it up. This season was garbage from beginning to the end... Too much focus on the wrong end. Like the meth duo, or the pregnant shit from Lorna, or those 2 girls watching the guards, or the skinheads. I dont know, everything felt out of place...

Haven't watched it but the sentiment I see here is typical Jenji Kohan. She doesn't realize when her ideas have run out of steam and proceeds to just write shit for four more seasons than she should.

She is good at writing a good couple of initial seasons and at season ending cliffhangers.
