Does anyone have any recommendations on a decent arcade stick? Price isn't really in issue as long as its decent quality.
It's mainly for Tekken Tag 2 and occasional use for Soul Calibur 5 (if that's relevant?)

Do you plan to use it 100% only on PS3? If so, I'd grab a MadCatz TE stick. Sanwa parts, and relatively cheap, especially during events when they run some heavy discounts. The SC5 stick is only $100 normally these days too. http://store.gameshark.com/viewItem....idCategory=274
If you want a stick that will work on both PS3 and 360 out of the box, check out the Qanba Q4. Really solid, well built stick with Sanwa parts and comes dual-modded. My Q4 is a beast, and one of my favorite sticks I've ever owned. http://www.eightarc.com/qanba-q4/
That SC5 one looks pretty impressive, cheers Viq very helpful indeed!
I have one of the SFIV TE sticks modded with an octo gate and sanwa buttons. It's also dual modded for 360 and PS3. Looking to get rid of it.
I remember buying a very cheap one and then, with superior engineering and soldering skills, i replaced the stick and the buttons with Sanwa's.
The whole thing costed me around 100 Euros.
edit: It was this one, replaced the whole thing cause the stick that comes with it is super crap, with a lot of "dead zone".
How much interior space would I be looking at needing for dual-moding? I got an old SF4 SE here which I slapped sanwa parts and an octo gate onto, wouldn't mind being able to eventually use it on Xbone/PS4 whenever the PCBs are available given the price of sticks are pretty bad in Canada.
I second the use of an Eightarc stick. Mother in law got me one a couple Christmases ago for PS3/XBOX and its been a really solid stick.
Looking for $100 shipped on that stick for those who were curious.
Since you're starting with a PS3 stick space won't be an issue, when it comes time to mod for other systems you'll likely be best off just removing the stock PCB entirely and replacing it with whatever the next-gen version of the PS360+ is.
^ Eightarc/Qanba will be the best value over time, especially if you ever have any intention of playing competitively offline. Also, the Qanba Defender bag is amazing, it can fit both an Eightarc/Qanba stick as well as a console and a few games in the bag.
This is a great deal for a dual-modded TE, I would recommend someone hop on it.
