    Dungeon Sac pulls

    This is becoming pretty common. And I get it, you want to run through and get your tokens fast and skip the trash. But I'm sick of getting into an instance, then the tank running through the mobs, and myself or someone else getting hate from one of them(for unknown reasons) then we need to die, followed by the tank rage quitting.

    Is there something I"m missing here? I thought you just follow a medium distance behind the tank as he runs through and you shouldn't get agro? I think the last one a demon cast something on me after it was summoned. Any tips here?

    If you mean the summoner at the entrance of Amdapor Keep, they can fuck up things by doing exactly that, the demons pop after the tank went through and people get aggroed if they stay behind.

    If you mean something else like the tank missing mobs along they way, then they're at fault and they suck at sac pulling.

    Generally want to kill the first group in Keep for as stated above, tends to fuck things up.

    Related, I despise this mechanic. Its definitely an issue that outside of one or two chests there is absolutely no reason to kill trash in the level 50 dungeons, but this leads to so many issues and is just lame in general.

    Every time it's fucked when I've run has been because someone has a pet out. Don't have your fairy/egi out until after the tank is raised.

    The summoned Soul Collectors will display enmity on the entire party but when the tank dies they should disappear entirely.

    It's stupid as hell, but when you are getting it down to a 21minute run, you can't really pass up the opportunity to just power gear up.

    They should just add a token reward or drop for killing trash, problem solved. Or they'll probably go the other way and add party hate, don't expect this one to last very long.

    For someone with their highest job only at 30 (me), can someone explain to me the premise of Sac pulling through a dungeon? From what I've gathered, it's just to rush to the mini boss/big boss AFAP, avoiding all the smaller mobs and going purely for the loot from the bosses? Picking up small chests along the way too or passing those?

    It's for when you hit 50 and you're just there to farm tokens more than for the gear itself.

    We never have issues with the first leg of the dungeon sac pulling. The when the Worshipers spawn the Chaos w/e's they will aggro anything running past: you would think this is a fail, but it's not. The Chaos guys are hard-tethered to the summoners and whenever they leash the Chaos Servants leash, regardless of who had hate on them.

    As I write this, we're having a little issue running through to the final boss. For some reasons mobs keeps aggroing someone else beside the Tank. As well as some mobs (Dullahans) not aggroeing when Literally running into them face front.

    It is when the trash serves zero purpose. Would be nice if they occasionally dropped a token or something. Of course when you blow through amdapor and get 80/40 tokens just with the bosses...

    Sacrifice pulling is a terrible design flaw and should never be the optimal way of running dungeons in 2013. That being said, it's on SE to find a way to make it less appealing in a way that doesn't completely ruin the dungeon experience.
