I had a similar setup. I guess my mind was like "Agnes LOOKS like a mage" and so forth. Also found this. Knew I read it somewhere.

Here are the level 99 stats on Freelancer (the stats obviously change when you change classes)
As you can see the differences aren't huge but if you have them all playing a single class you can see one pull ahead over another.

I can confirm that it indeed doesn't matter, you're not gonna tell the difference between +1-3 INT unless you're looking for it, and since pretty much every mob has its own weakness and Mdef, it makes it even less noticeable

Finally got an estimated shipping date of Feb. 11th. Went and resubmitted my shipping as 2-day for release date delivery, and it's now showing Feb 7th.

Can't say I've heard of one and the Flash Cart scene is still in its infancy, I'd say. There's apparently one working type out there, but it's not as flexible as, say, a DS one is in allowing multiple games on a single microSD card. I'd also say maintaining useability post-patches is still a concern, since I wouldn't want to dump $60+ on something that basically decides to not work after an update. There's also a bit of drama on how said creator has slipped in code to brick units that try to clone the card.

I've decided to go play Final Fantasy: 4 Heroes of Light while this game takes its sweet time.

Think I'll go check out a few mom 'n pops tomorrow and see if they're willing to break street date for this game. (if they even have it)

Yeah. I don't follow the scene much, only checking in on it periodically because I'm a poor mofo, and such seemed to be the case of things around mid-Jan. I'm sure the eggheads will get around it eventually, but by then I fear we'll be looking at the next handheld.

Nowadays I'll occasionally buy a game new if I really, really want it, but for the most part I've been more the bargain bin or used sales lurker for the PS3/360/Wii gen.

I was heavily into the flash-cart scene in the DS days but now I make enough money to actually buy games on the regular so I've stopped following it and emulation pretty much completely.

I haven't played a pirated game since Darksiders 1 came out.
