Love this game so much, really enjoying it!
Love this game so much, really enjoying it!
This game has a ridiculous amount of flavor text for even the most insignificant things
I kinda flipped through everything really fast to get rid of the "new" mark but I never even glanced once at the contents. So I guess we're both guilty of that. I actually only started going through all of it now.
Edit: yeah the flavor text is nice. Even weapons have a nice bit of detail to it.
The red mage boss
godamn that guy
I said the same thing. My solution in case you want it:
Spoiler: show
Spoiler: show
Also don't have friends attacks anymore cuz people not updating their shit!
Spoiler: show
I update mine once every hour but I don't think we're friends on my JP 3DS. Seems like no one else is updating besides xopher, lol.
Spoiler: show
I been getting lots of update from people. I'm not doing 9999s yet but been uploading 6k-7k ones. Don't know if it helps and if people get them.
My OCD is going to kill me on this. So many combos, so many jobs to level.
Are there any missables?
I just owned him my own way, thx all and SWEET REVENGE
Templar (currently sitting on 366 def) with Kairai from Ninjutsu is freaking awesome. Been going thru where you can redo boss fights with leveled up stats. Any boss with single target attacks just smacks her for single digits, while the rest of the party just goes balls out without a care in the world. Anything AoE based just gets shit in by the healing throughput of the level 12 WHM support ability.
And to top it all off the level 12 Templar ability let's them poor on nearly as much damage as the others with no negatives because the class is so goddamn slow that it's one turn debuff won't matter.
I'd be inclined to say based on what I've seen in chapter 5 that you can redo any you missed, but I'm not 100% on that.
Some things are easier to get early onbut I don't think there are missables.Spoiler: show
I was impressed by templar too but then i switched to the dark side....
nothing comes close to damage burst and somewhat safety consisten of a party of:
Main/Sub
Spiritmaster/Whitemage
Group Casting (Blm 14 ability)
Holy blabla (cure potency up, Spiritmaster)
with 3x
Monk/Dark Knight
HP+20%
Max HP up (doubles HP at start of battle, but doesnt fill it up)
go with 20k+ HP into town and abuse that minus strike for 9999 dmg. Shit is retarded (of course adjust your equipment to various battle). So far havent seen in story mode any obstacle that couldnt be rollfaced by this ¬.¬ (Town nemesis are different), tough I havent yet finished the storyline. Of course if your HP gets to high due to healing for 10k HP just use some Black bane or Dark bane, and if the oponent is anal about only casting magic use the spiritmasters enigma. Most enemys dont even survive the first round of 12x 10k dmg.
The only draw back is if you die during battle your HP boost gets nullyfied. so make sure you dont die or its back to 10k HP in that fight
This is one of the few JP RPGs I really enjoy since years. Biggest plus is the ability to totally turn of monster encounters if you wish just to proceed through story, and the conversations and character development is made very good.
Reminds me alot of FFXI jobsystem with main subjobs etc. me like alot the flexibility!
