I really wish you could touch the status effects that were on your enemies to see what the hell they do. I fought the Valkyrie last night and defaulted everyone for 5+ turns after she used Spirit Barrier 'cause I thought I was healing her and I just wanted to wait for the effect to wear off. Apparently pink numbers mean you're taking MP damage; how the fuck was I supposed to know that since there was no precedent up to that point.

I actually stopped mid-battle and looked up Spirit Barrier online because I couldn't figure out what was going on. Of course, once I read it, I facepalmed and plowed her.

Yah, I just finised the Fire crystal area, and I'm level ~55 or so, because i spent like, an hour on Normal mode+100% Encounter farming a buttload of JP in the Mythril Mines (74 JP/kill with Unscathed Ace)...

But the Blademaster was still f**king stupid hard to kill, seriously, he had somewhat of a pattern but if you attacked him on a turn he used "Nothing Ventured" you're f**king dead, period..

dont waste your time farming JPs, wait unitl chapter 6 and then go to town for 999 JP for almost each encounter if done correctly (growth egg, + chain bonus for no damage taken, +Trait/Ability from freelancer for 20% JP got, without growth egg you are looking at 600 JP+, 999 is the cap per battle anyway)

So I got a question, my friend was saying nemesis' are limited in this game... Does that mean after awhile I don't get anymore? Not that I have been able to beat any yet (just reaching lv22~ish now).

LOL, I did the same damn thing. I was quite confused, after about 4 turns of defending I said "fk it" and looked it up, found out it just deals MP damage instead and all I had to do was beat through it.

Jeez that was crazy though.

It happened to one of my friends with a Nook or a Kindle or something years and years ago, but you're only the second person I've heard of that happening with. He was never charged for that one either and ended up selling it a few months later I think.

Regarding a non-important boss battle in Chapter4

Just got to Chapter 4, Earth Crystal.... Where i have to chose 1 of the three paths to the tower. Central path had a pretty rough Guardian boss, Left path had a Dragon Zombie... which is where the funny part comes in, On a whim i decided to cast raise on it and it worked, 1-hit KO. I laughed and laughed. (Had to cast raise on it twice, it revived after the first one, and died for real after the second) -- I love undead

Yay, finally sent a 9999 damage one. I got it by exploiting an enemy weakness. Does that mean you all get that too? I did it with a mnk/whm with probably not the best gear. I have a town of 56 so I keep getting new moves/parts pretty quickly

I was lv20 as well (hard mode). I just found it was easier to zerg one head down asap before they start doing that breath spam. Beast+Fire on first head, and Beast+Water on 2nd head are the weaknesses you can hit. My pt setup: Knight, Thief/Monk (using those cat knuckles), White Mage, Black Mage. Had specials ready. Might of managed better switching Agnes to Black Mage/White Mage.

But once you get one head out of the way, the other one is pretty easy. Just keep everyone's HP up.
