I missed the conjurer's quest but got the asterisk on chapter 8 without going through the quest. I assumed it is the one that hits you in the feels. I wanna get hit in the feels. Can someone tell me what happens?

Without going out of your way to gear up for a specific boss, what's your general strat when it comes to tackling them.

I'm interested in hearing some of the ideas and see how they differ from my own.

Tiz - Nin/Swordmaster
Ringabell - Nin/Swordmaster (Hawkeye, precision, frenetic fighting on both)
Agnes - Salve Maker/Nin (Holy one, epic group cast, agi+20 dagger, blessed shield)
Edea - Templar/Nin (hasten world, default guard, dual shields, defense+10%)

Since I get 2 BP per turn, I have Agnes Kairai onto Edea and then cure if necessary or DD w/ compounds.

Edea just alternates between rampart and default. Uses Kairai on herself if I need Agnes to do something else

Tiz/Ringabell save BP till 2, Agnes will make the enemy weak to fire, and I put up flame weps.

Then I just go all out with tiz/ringabell while keeping aggro on Edea and healing as necessary w/ blessed shield.

Hasten world makes BP 0 problem whatsoever

Honestly my jobs always vary, but ones I kinda fall back on from time to time are

Tiz - Vampire/Thief(when i need to steal) or /NIN otherwise. Set up a 4 Brave, and Absorb the Enemies Attack, Defx2, or Atk/Def/Matk/Mdefx1 if a magical boss too. This really nerfs enemies. (gives them all -25% to those stats, and +20% to myself)
Edea - Swordmaster/Templar - Templars abilities are just nice to have in my eyes, and Swordmaster has some good'uns too.
Ringabel - Usually a fully naked MNK/NIN with the "36" hit limit Trait set who just beats things to sh*t.
Agnes - WHM/BRD - Usually Attackx2, DEFx1, Mdefx1 depending on the boss, then focusing on curing.

Theres better options im sure I just enjoy the synergy of the jobs listed.

I think I just accidentally created an infinite attack combo.

DRK/Spell Fencer with drain and then use rage. Character keeps attacking. Haven't used it on anything big, but does it ever stop? Anyone tried it?

Edit: never mind, it stops after a few attack rounds, still pretty broken though.

Holy fuck the Kamiizumi / Barbarosa / Praline / Kikyo / Qada fight was fucking ridiculous. Took me over 2 hours and a turtle strategy before I finally beat it. The winning fight took probably 40 minutes alone because I could only afford a solo Dark Knight as damage.

I see you're taking the FFXI approach to sub jobs. I honestly want to know who in the development team had the bright idea of adding Utsusemi into this game. It just seems like a cruel joke.

My strat doesn't rly make use of utsu though. It's just for the enmity ninjutsu to make sure it stays on my tank since you can guarantee a target (unless its AoE)
