I figured I'll ask here. What's the best parser to use atm?

While I agree that using endgame as a base is the legitimate go-to, I agree with his assessment that Aurum Vale is an absolute shithole for Summoner/Scholar pets. If future content has the problems Aurum Vale has right now, it could be problematic to both classes and their roles.
Yea, that's what I was basically getting at, if mechanics like this are implemented in future end game dungeon boss fights, smn/sch roles will be heavily impacted.
ACN could use a trait that gives Sustain the added effect of removing the pet's debuffs or something along those lines.
Ah well if that was the point, then yes I'll concede the point. Aurum Vale blows chunks. Although I did do it on Scholar, and went through first try no wipes, I was like 44ish trying to squeeze out that one level. Maybe I had to resummon faerie one, can't remember, but I do have Swiftcast so its not a big deal. I didn't have any terrible problem then.
Is it just the poison stacks from Miser's that makes it such a problem? I haven't made it to that point yet, just watched some videos. It seems pretty straightforward other than the debuff/AoE thing.
Miser's is part of the issue. The other part is that much of the terrain does a good chunk of damage if you stand in it. You would think a floating pet would be able to ignore this, but instead you have to waste time microing your pet into a safe position and hope he doesn't lose a chunk of HP along the way.
End boss' mechanics is also a problem similar to Miser's.
For a lot of players, AV is the first dungeon where knowing your job matters. I'm not ashamed to admit it took me 3-4 tries to get my aetherflow/bane/fester timed well enough to effectively maintain a high DPS while timing the adds spawn.
And I kept my gear up
And I listened when people told me to do things
And I have swift cast
Etc.

Uh, guess I hadn't really checked if multiple SFs stack damage-wise. Just assumed it did.
Also I dunno if it's lag or the global DoT/regen/etc tick thing, but Sacred Soil's DR buff isn't active right away and doesn't seem to fade instantly if you leave the field. Like it'll persist for ~5s after leaving the bubble.
They do stack but they're considered buffs on you and not a proper DoT and mobs will NOT wake up if slept inside Shadow Flare. I guess it works exactly like Flaming Arrow.
On the topic of debuffs, they really need to make it more clear which are yours.
When there's a shitton of them stacked on the mob looking for the one with the slightly different colored number amid the disco ball of particle effects behind it is not friendly to fast paced combat.
The player's own debuffs need a highlighted background color/border at the very least, could also move them to always be the first ones listed.
Oh, also, who's fucking idea was it to have mob buffs and debuffs take up the same space?
Yeah, light green isn't very easy to track and the debuffs are all over the place instead of being in a convenient order.
At least the devs have acknowledged that tracking debuffs is a nightmare currently and are working on UI enhancements, though we have no timetable for it.
I actually had a WHM that kept dying to stupid shit on Garuda say he missed addons like DBM, because watching both the fight and the HP bars was too much work for him.
