Quick question where is the best place to spirit bound ATM?

Pretty much anywhere with 40+ mobs. I rocked it farming Snurble Tufts or during CM runs. DD fate in Bluefog is pretty insane too, I think most people do it there but I prefer CM since I can farm Philo too.

I was doing really well in Northern Thanalan - we farmed the Followers/Bombs and when that FATE chain popped up we were pretty much done. Wore the Patriot Armband/Choker as well. All in all took about 30-45m to get ilvl45-49 stuff done. Coulda been faster but we were putzing around with FATEs instead.

So the only fate you were doing was the 4 chain follower one?

I was switching between that an the Coblyns and the Earth Sprites.
