Well time to see if they cut out all the relationship drama and get back to what made the show so great. It should be interesting to see how they resolve the whole Beckett leaves the force etc. Also Cuddy joins the show for a 3 episode arc!

I think you and I are the only ones left here that still watch it regularly lol. They seriously need to fix that shit asap. I read a couple of write ups about the first episode(nothing in depth mind you) and they all said the first episode was pretty fantastic. So here's hoping.

I agree that they need to get over the relationship drama. Those episodes are the hardest to sit down and watch, while the others make it hard to get up and do something else.

Which then leads to fabricated relationship drama, a mid season break up, and a finale make up and wedding/pregnancy. I'm really hoping that's not the plan. But I don't see the series being as interesting without it taking place in the precinct. Since Cuddy is only signed on for three episodes I'm thinking she either gets killed or this whole arc gets resolved within that time frame. Just please God no more of that retarded ass relationship crap they had last season.

While it is obvious that she doesn't want Castle to get hurt again, it seemed pretty clear that he wouldn't be poking his head around in her cases again.

It seemed much more likely that her biggest motivation to leave is the fact that there won't be any investigation into the Secretary of Defense (or whatever). This isn't the first time she's encountered something like this, but her new role would lead to this type of issue more.

Since Cutty is there for three episodes, I imagine the next episode is her working with her team again, which leads her to decide that the NYPD is a better fit.

At least, I hope it is.

As much as I loved the Kate/Castle dynamic for most of the show, am I the only one that enjoyed the running around with Ryan and Esposito enough to question if we really needed her in the series?

I've always found Ryan and Esposito very entertaining. I'm not sure they would be able to carry the show though.
