any hot chicks in it?
any hot chicks in it?
More like a pretty average thing.
Saw the pilot last night, and its fun as hell to watch. Just don't go in expecting Emmy-winning acting and writing. I went in expecting the headless horseman with machine guns, and the show didn't disappoint. Only thing that pissed me off wasSpoiler: show
I'm going to keep watching it because of this: http://www.deadline.com/2013/09/frin...sleepy-hollow/
I too thought the end was done wellSpoiler: show
As someone who is a fan of the old Sleepy Hollow / Headless Horseman / Ichabod Crane lore, this show didn't look very good.
How are you going to take a something from the 1700s in to the modern day? And none of the previews gave me any hope.
Well, I gave the first episode a chance and I think it turned out ok.
It doesn't look like theyre going to use the actual story, but instead use the base of it for a whole new story that really has nothing to do with the lore.
Considering the original story is short and vague I was curious as how they would make a series out of it; so while I don't think it fits the original story, I think it will be ok by itself. But really.. why have the horseman wield a gun?
Whatevs. I'll watch it, it's enjoyable.
Headless horseman wielding guns is the shit son.
Though axe is more badass.
The concept of the show is great. But it's plagued with shit script and shit acting. Can't see it lasting long.
It's on FOX, so it'll last one season then end on a cliffhanger just like the other 10 million shows FOX has abruptly cancelled over the years. And yet... they continue to air American Idol.
I still have no idea how Grimm lasted so long so maybe this will stick around also...
The only weak actor is the Harold/Kumar guy, and even then, he's still tolerable. The leads are great actors in the world of awful over-delivered paranormal shows and I'm glad the old sheriff will be a reoccurring role, it looks seems. The show isn't doing anything new to the formula, but I don't feel that I've wasted my time watching at the end of the hour.
I really like the main guy, I personally would prefer if the show was set in revolutionary era. I think it would make it more interesting to watch
Yeah I think the guy who plays Crane is great. Especially when he gets all worked up over things like donut taxation.
I see this show as the more supernatural version of Fringe. I'm really digging it so far.
Actually enjoyed the pilot and will probably end up watching episode 2 tonight
Liked the first episode, the second one was monster-of-the-week variety. First episode reminded me of Terminator with the headless horseman dual wielding guns and the.Spoiler: show
Feel the same way. One thing the GF said was that it was stupid that there was a passage to wherever they needed to go. It was too easy and convenient for them. They're going to need to stretch out some of these stories and give them more depth/background if they plan to last more than one season. One episode per enemy is not going to last long. They'll run out of plot and start repeating things within two seasons.
They really need Bobby type of character to explain the lore behind the creatures better...
I think Orlando Jones is supposed to be God.
