I have an issue with my PC where I record footage of a game (FFXI or FFXIV) with fraps and periodically it will lag terribly and cause me to drop to 1~3 FPS. I then have to restart it for it to go back up to normal. There is also issue with viewing videos through windows media player, sometimes I will lag as I click on the video. When it opens it lags and freezes sometimes and has an error message. I also lag just opening my video folder. I have a lot of raw footage on my PC that sucks all my HD space but I'm not sure if that is whats causing this lag. I typically have around 100 GB when I start recording and it still lags randomly, very frustrating. I also have random lag when I click certain folders or try to swap windows sometimes.
