Logged into my personal Chrome at work...autofill now suggests porn. Help!

Was downloading a new extension on my work computer. Thought it would be handy to have at home similar to 'google play' so I logged onto chrome so it would be stored.

But, my work chrome computer imported all my browser history from my personal computer meaning that my history from home is on this browser.

    Not to mention autofill.

However, I dont want to wipe my entire browser history because I often go back to my browser history with a keyword for a work related website.

Is there a way to just take out all my personal computer stuff and leave my work stuff?

Tried searching around for a fix but I dont think I'm using the correct terms.

Maybe using malwarebytes to clear browser caches? That may stay local.

Go to settings > advanced sync settings. From there you can tell Chrome to not sync your autofill and history.

After you do that, you'll want to scroll to the bottom and click 'show advanced settings' then under Passwords and Forms you'll want to click 'Manage Autofill settings' to clear the autofill stuff that you don't want stored locally.

    Problem solved.

Out of desperation I used the 'delete current user' function.

word of warning: you cant get that information back. Learned my lesson.

Quick question for those who use Chrome at work, can you disable the sign in function?

You have to opt in for signing in.

You can sign out in the tools setting.
