You don't even have to use a controller to play XIV on PS4, it supports M + KB and all the HUD settings as PC. PS4 run this game pretty much the same as a high end PC, in fact whenever I load into a instance i'm always the first or one of the first to load. Voice chat is easily solved by using a computer/labtop/phone(lol), the only advantage PC users have is parsers which you can get someone else to tell you what you parse.
