PS2 XI loaded models quicker for whatever reason, while the PC client was limited to around 2 per second. That said, I played XI with a keyboard on PS2. F8 > Tab targeting for a single mob.

Speaking of tab targeting, good fucking luck targeting specific people without a mouse in a timely manner in Frontline on XIV when they're all moving around .

Being a butcher irl, I was really excited to get my Butcher's Crown. I wanted my 100,000th kill to be special, and with Titan being my favourite primal for years now I figured it should be him. So I carefully watched my kill count as I neared the goal, stopping at 99,999 kills. So I q'd for Titan HM, since I didn't want the egi's from EX to be the one I get the achievement on.

Got the achievement when the first gaol was destroyed.

Was pretty sure bomb boulders also counted as kills but I suppose not.

Context: One of two DRG in dex gear criticizing my i90 pentamelds in ST. We kicked them both :D

More context: Parsed 3rd overall while MT the entire run. That was a really slow run.

Bloody Mary standing on my node, stop, hop off bird, wait for GCD. Didn't see that apparently there were a bunch of people standing across the little river. Pulled it over by a tree so I'd be left alone/people could grab the node.

Said and done, run off to next node for Salt, receive mads.

Thing is, I come through daily and that bird commonly sits up now, so I've grown accustomed to just hopping classes and killing it as I go about my rotations. Respawns pretty much each time the node does.

Leave it to some fob 50 that's trying to hunt to get mad about that.

Got that myself yesterday, I was going to mine Thanalan Topsoil and Sewer Syrup was chilling nearby, hopped out of my choco, changed job and started killing it... lo and behold I get a tell from someone telling me "You can't solo Hunt mobs, reset or die" (he was a WHM) when it was around 30% he started to hit it as well, guess he though I wasn't going to die lol.

Dude proceeded to call me a greedy bastard, apparently only some members of his party made it to the last 20%~ and didn't get full reward, yeah, like I'm going to wait for your party to get there on a B so I don't get shit for contribution, who's the greedy one here? If I see a B I'm going to kill it like it or not, they're meant to be soloed.
