It has depreciated as it becomes less relevant. With 2.2, started it at 1m, then 700k. Now its 500k and we rarely get people wanting it anymore.

Wonder why DPS in T7 is so low. Zenith BLM is stopping after each fire to check for procs.
Apparently this guy missing his fate is all my fault... so he blames me for getting there right as it died.

So, I had already been debating whether or not to cancel my sub because as much as the game has to offer, it isn't striking me much anymore. Personal Housing was a flop, sooner content seems to feel rushed as opposed to waiting for good content, and last night I pissed myself off SO bad that I don't even want to play. Here's the rundown of my breakdown:
I had been doing Leve's and Leather quests all day. Took me a while as I started making my own turn ins at 35. As I'm sure you all know, every time you turn in an HQ item a little box pops up "U SURE U WANNA TRADE DIS HQ IN BRO? ITS HQ" and you rapidly click yes to move on.
After doing that about 50 times, I go to make my Leather quest turn in HQ Raptorskin choker. I go to turn in it, spam click it in, spam click the VERY SIMILAR BOX asking if I wanted to trade my double melded HQ Choker that was bonded and not even a second later, I realized what happened.
SE won't do shit, out an item that I put time and melds into and once I DID upgrade it I could have Materia'd it.
Ok, I get it. I fucked up by being in a hurry, but fuck the fact that this game even LETS that kind of item be traded in for a quest. Aside from that really shouldn't be possible then definitely need an extra check mark-y box if you're going to roll that SE, so fuck you.
Isn't there a lot of double checks now. Unique/melded items having a small box you have to click before 'Yes' becomes an option?
Was just a "Yes" "No" for me.
More redundancies for rundandants.
It wouldn't have happened if you were using a Dodore Choker instead ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Mostly, I just don't see why it would even allow it. Also, yea yea Kor, facking I know. Should I somehow get over this most traumatizing and soul breaking experience, I have Leatherworker now, I could just...make it. >_>
Not to take up for Airenn making a dumb mistake, but checking if the turn-in is part of a gearset would help.
In general though this game is pretty fucking terrible about confirmation prompts.
I mean, ultimately, the game can only prevent so much stupidity. And even Award-Winning World-Class Square Enix customer support can't be expected to rollback your fuckups on-demand, there'd just be too many people asking.
look. in life there are times one can only remind the other that much.
to you, having double/triple/quad confirmation would help you or some other you claim, but in reality the other 2.49 mil adventurers dont need it
im sorry for your "loss" but its only a double meld -_-
So I put up a PF saying I'm LFG for T6/7 clear. Late in the week I know. Then this happens...
[21:34]Liarra Handeloup >> check again tmrw
[21:34]>> Liarra Handeloup: that would be... after reset though
[21:34]Liarra Handeloup >> indeed. that would be the best time to find clear groups
[21:35]>> Liarra Handeloup: you don't say
[21:35]Liarra Handeloup >> (Y)
[21:35]>> Liarra Handeloup: thanks anyway![]()
What's that saying about straw and camel's backs?
^ But mostly, it's a mechanic that makes no sense, serves little purpose. Why would anyone want to trade in a bonded/melded item? For any reason. Materia that shit, desynth it sure. But hey, quest item? lawl, dumbassss u hit dat button!
Because it's SE and QoL improvements are something they haven't ever heard of. I'm sure there's some "limitation" that prevents them from being able to check if an item has materia on it or not (despite other systems checking if an item has materia on it).
lol, you're acting like they intentionally wrote it that way. It's merely an oversight. Make yourself an OF thread to complain and pray it gets noticed.
They should make you enter a password which includes the stats of the items you're trading in to make sure you really want to trade in that item for whatever menial task you're performing.
