Right there with you. I've seen countless screenshots of /tell conversations stretching back to FFXI, and to this day, I still cannot intuitively understand the /tell arrows when read from screenshots.
On the topic of stupid shit my mind does, my mind adamantly refuses to deal with chimera-type bosses and their purple/blue mechanic. It's not even a difficult mechanic, yet I'm anxious to even flag up for low-level roulettes due to the chance of getting Cutter's Cry.
Fun fact: I'm partially colorblind and struggle to distinguish some blue and purple hues (among others). I doubt they're related, but it's still a mildly interesting coincidence.
">> name" means what you're saying is going to that person. "name>>" means that person is saying something to you.
For chimera, Blue = ice, Purple = lightning
Dragon = in
Ram = out
This is difficult.
While messing around with some glamour, someone in our group sent a screenshot to show an example of something. Someone else saw their UI and pointed out "Why aren't any of your hotbar keybindings showing?" Turns out he literally clicks everything. As MNK main. And he pulls 480+ on t8 as our only melee, so he's using LB. I just don't even know what's real anymore.

Someone should teach him the joys of making the mini parse window clickthrough.
Wait is clicking absolutely everything that uncommon? I do that, too :s

Can you get him to record/stream a T8/anything? I definitely want to see it in action.
Is the fail here that...he *does* have bindings visible and you're all missing it?
Because I see bindings on bars 1+2...Granted he should have them on #3 also but still...
1..9-= are the default bindings I believe, so they (correctly) assumed that he didn't use them.
And those defaults work fine with any MMO mouse out there. Hell, I used them at FanFest without an MMO mouse.
I just think it weird that the assumption is because he didn't change the defaults that he's just not using them at all.
Well, they asked him about it and he confirmed it, so unless he's trolling it's not really an assumption at this point.
You can see in the chat log that it blew poor Zaxas's mind so much that he had to leave the party.
The assumption is much easier to make if you see the original screenshot that the conversation sprung from.

It basically came out of "Wait, do you manually click all your firestarter procs?"
She tried to leave the FC, too, but couldn't because of personal chambers.
Haha, okay I buy that.
