Made me chuckle. Backstory is I put up PF saying "selling HQ wootz cuirass, HQ wootz plate belt, HQ wootz helm below marketboard prices. send /tell if interested." I did not list a price, so I can negotiate with people more easily.

Have received quite a bit of range of offers, but I politely decline if it isn't what I'm looking. Had he just stopped after the offer, I wouldn't be posting here, but his comment was pretty humorous.

If we ignore what the crafter invested to craft 4 star, then sure, 250k is totally worth it!

I don't know how much a HQ wootz belt is worth, is it worth a lot more? was his offer just so low that it wasn't worth the time?

When you offer what is essentially less than what I need to actually craft the thing (for the sake of argument, I'll ignore the costs it took to get me this far), then the offer is essentially saying "hey just let me have your HQ belt!"

Currently on sargatanas, NQ wootz ingot alone is 300k a pop. You need:

2 wootz ingot
1 platinum nugget
1 wolfram square
1 hippo leather

to craft the belt. At the time of this post, 300k x2 + 50k for HQ nugget + 100k for HQ square and hippo leather HQ is negligible since any shmoe can make it.

I mean you can technically take a crack at making the ingot and probably end up NQing it anyway, but I'll let you have it and say the cost of making each ingot is 100k.

So 350k cost to make and and I was given an offer that results in a loss. Also, I don't get your comment about me not knowing how to add?

I have gotten lowball offers (500k, 700k, etc) and they were genuinely interested in haggling. Those I have no problem making deals with. Whereas this guy quips back with a smartass comment like he's entitled to it at any price he gives me.

Judging from his response and my past experience, I shouldn't even bother since he probably thinks crafters aren't allowed to make money.

Basically, Garuda bugged out and just sat there looking stupid the entire time, not attacking or anything. The fail(s) of course being:

WAR is in defiance.
WAR not using fracture, maim, storms eye, unchained, berserk, etc.
WAR did use bloodbath despite 0 damage going out.
PLD not in sword oath, let alone any oath at all.
Neither DRG has heavy thrust up.
Neither DRG is using phlebotomize.
Neither DRG is using chaos combo, though one appears to have used disembowel (about to wear off)
A BRD is playing a mana song.
Neither BRD is using foe's to help with healer DPS.
WHM would be ok, but neither aero is on.

SCH seems to be the only one with his shit together, provided there's a Selene flying around off screen.
