Seems like a force of habit, because monsters outside dungeons have that leash range, and he was possibly hoping to reset them. That being said, that is still an incredibly stupid idea.

At least he was low-level; best I've seen must have been a BLM in Brayflox in full AF. I was in there with two friends and we figured the run would be smooth.

We pulled the first group of mobs and were surprised that the BLM was sleeping everything. Weird, but if he feels like doing some support, why not? Then he started meleeing the mobs. Just that, no spells, until there was one mob left. At that point, he'd switch to using Blizzard. He then proceeded to pull the first boss and we let him die, winning the battle with the three of us. I recommended he read some guids online and we left.

Vote Kick can't come soon enough. How did he even manage to do his AF quest? Wonder if he was annoying people on purpose. I'm all for giving people some advice, but I can't really explain everything to them.

I reported someone a month or so ago who was purposely pulling ifrit after a wipe when people were in a cutscene as we had no blm/smn through the DF and the gm flat out told me that there is nothing to stop a person from purposely wiping you by pulling. You are free to act outside of what your job does. So feel free to purposely wipe people for the lulz, SE says it's A-OK.

Just did a WP run with a relic BLM, who told me that using Berserk was unnecessary/a waste of time because I can not use any WS for 5 secs after. Then he told me that I should spam flash during thoses 5 sec to keep hate..

The thing is, I use Berserk/Internal release combined in a macro for enemy groups, then I spam Overpower until Berserk give me amnesia, then use flash once. The guy was QQing because i'd not spam flash.

I just don't understand, Overpower raise enmity, combined with this macro it can crit up to 400 dmg per targets, adding some more enmity, the guy started to call me name upon that so I prefered to leave, would post the convo but its in french so no point. >.>;

There are plenty of people with relics who don't know how to play their own jobs, much less another one. Don't worry about it.

Speaking of, forgot to SS but I just finished a partial AK with a relic WAR with AF hands/feet/legs. He voke pulled every pull (including pulling the last succubus + her 3 buddies at the same time)... except last boss which he suddenly decided to Tomahawk pull. Also fell off Demon Wall on first repel.

For your encounter with this Bravura WAR, there are 2 options that could justify the voke pulls, 1st is voke range being slightly larger then Tomahawk, or 2ndly he believe its like FFXI Voke.

I used to do it for the 2nd reason, until I was told the mechanics of FFXIV voke on this forum
