Are you talking about queuing individual normal mode (i.e. not Hard) primals? Why would anyone do that?

And how do you know he doesn't have 2.0 storyline complete? And whilst he might not be able to queue high level roulette, he certainly can queue the dungeons individually. It drops upgrades for him and he needs to do them for High Level Roulette acces.

And I don't know. You tell me why someone using an i55 weapon would queue for something that drops i60/70/80 weapon and is needed as part of the relic quest?

And again this doesn't change the fact that he has the crafts to make himself better equipment at virtually no effort.

If you have 2.0 storyline complete, there's no reason to grind anything but ST (or hunts) until you're i110+.

Maybe. But he wasn't in one of those dungeons, which makes sense because those dungeons are basically a waste of time until you're at least i80 and can do DR High.

Relic requires 2.0 storyline complete, at which point (again) ST takes you to full i110. Grinding hard mode for weapons is a waste of time, as is early relic.

ST grinding is what I originally suggested, he doesn't have the ilvl to enter though.He has to grind something prior to that to get the ilvl

Derailing: DF Ultros, other PLD has full dread, we're both in Sword Oath fulltime. The first-time SCH tells us to turn on oaths because we take so much more damage in sword oath for so little benefit. Guy has like Zenith book and WoD gear at best.

Doesn't Ultros hit like a pansy anyway? I know when I was farming Terra it I gave zero fucks about pulling hate at the start which somehow happened far too frequently even with quelling use. So it must hit tanks for pathetic damage.

After banging my head against Landenel for a while trying for Odin card I decided to take a chance in DF, go on WAR since that at least ensures on off-tank with STR gear is present.

Get in, me and a PLD in full VIT (120 and 130 ironworks rings even), I'm in my full STR accessories with Defiance off (barely 7k HP), healers buff up and after about 30s of standing there doing nothing........

Add the people who think Protect means anything in this game (after you outgear an encounter/instance) lol (infact I'd argue besides the WHM enhanced properties, the def is all but meaningless and insignificant even in low level encounters). It's placebo to me at best. I can heal and keep everyone (outside of coil) just as well even if I never ever cast it.

Yeah, I usually wait 5 seconds after the barrier goes down. If I don't see a protect being cast, I just run in. I'm pretty sure being 7.9k in sword oath is still way more than the 4k HP that people had back when Ifrit was still a joke of a fight.
