itt: BLMs that don't know how AF/UI work at level 50 just need some pointers
I don't know what the fuck I'm reading but I'm pretty sure it's in the right thread.
Like I said, if you want to call them an idiot for not knowing how their job works, that's a legitimate response and I have no issue with it.
But it's ridiculous to be like "LOL you moron" and then act all surprised when the person does not ask you how to improve. If that was seriously the desired/expected outcome, then your social skills are F tier.
I would understand the complaint at being rough if this wasn't Keeper of the Lake, meaning this is far from the guy's first 50 dungeon.
A cursory reveal of their lodestone also shows a Daystar earring with no other jobs at 50, so.
If their FC page is to believed, they're also an alt: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...member/?page=2
Dear god I should certainly hope anyone rocking an i90 weapon in this day and age is an alt.
RP-focused FC, surprise surprise.
Again: I have no problem with chewing the guy out for being clueless. Just don't act like the guy should humbly ask for advice while he is being clowned.
You can have a (deserved) laugh at his expense, or you can expect him to ask for your guidance to improve himself, but not both at the same time.
Are we reading the same thread? I guess it doesn't matter, right place.

1 tank holding king + both tanks in Thornmarch HM is so.... hard......
and...
I just want a damn card mannnnn
Just did the worse T12 ever
2 blackfire set, and they were everywhere so impossible to AOE them all
5 Bennus
People killed themselves with brand in last phase, then they blame on me for not Adlo them
This is all i had to say at the end
[18:10](Maple Flavor) gl 15% echo and ^people still have problem on this, this shows how low the player quality is in this game

Really wish I had taken a ss of the shit this guy was saying in T12. Long and short: if people can't immediately do mechanics perfectly when new they're wasting everybody's time and trolling/holding people hostage by not voting to abandon. Plus many insults and pulling the boss when he didn't get his way.
But I logged off for dinner, nbd.
Met him again in Titan HM- he was getting his Black Mage base relic (noticed the name, Dabomb Strongarm, and asked him if he was from the T12 run. He confirmed) Not only does he give new people shit once again, specifically a healer who's a little light on hp, but he ends up dying at least once every run to the same mechanics he's giving them shit for.
The icing:
Spoiler: show
Didn't work the time I initiated the kick. We did eventually, but he ran up to Phoenix to pull right away at least twice before it went through. We'd already lost a healer by that point so it didn't matter anyway.
People not killing Garuda EX before she teleports (in a 1 tank 1 heal setup) and don't dodge the Debuff AOE and wipes
Sorry to say that but what you told them doesn't bring anything to the table except making you look like a dick. You could have said : " hey guys 15% echo and we got 5 bennus, that means we have a dps problem" or "stick to the waymarks to place the blackfire", no you just chose to be rude.
There's no reason to be polite with people that don't listen and don't get better.
I just posted the Crunchy part, I was there for 1h with them not getting better.
People have other stuff to do now, don't have time to waste more then 1h in a poor group.
There's also the fact that people need to remember that in an online game, if you can't keep up, you should just get a 'learning' group and not waste other's time
I had a 43 minute KotL run last night with no wipes (PLD, MNK, MNK, WHM; I was PLD). It was mindboggling. After the first pull, I knew something was up as it took like 3 minutes to kill the three crabs. Opened ACT and was just sad. MNK #1 and MNK #2 averaged ~274 DPS and 212 DPS, respectively, throughout the whole run. WHM parsed at 0 dps. Everyone was super nice, so I stayed, but it was the worst.
