Hullbreaker party with 2 new guys (healer, blm). No problem. Happy to explain. I'm the other DPS (BLM). The tank (PLD) decides he doesn't really care what level anyone is (3.6k bLM... for second dps and a 4k healer) and is just going to pull as if we were all 130. I don't mind speed runs, I don't mind locking mobs out at bosses but he's an utter twat to the new guys and just says 'this is the way it's gonna be'. So of course we get overwhelmed and the twat dies. Healer feels bad. I tank and kill the remaining mobs on BLM. PLD refuses to explain what he's doing to anyone - keeps stopping as if we're going to kill then running off mid fight. Leaving 2 casters absolutely clueless. I ask him to stop running and he ignores me. Knowing full well I have a tank of my own I think fuck it and leave.

Ramuh pony farm, single tank, I asked the party to keep 1 orb up at all time because try to get 3rd stack as later as possible.

People starts bitching that keeping 1 orb is too hard and I should make the lolorb macro.

Tell them it's not hard to pay attention and just leave 1 orb up. They answer tank needs a macro it's a game rule to tell the others when to pick up orbs.

This rages me to no end, unintelligent pulls. Had a weak NIN and DRG in our party, not exactly AoE nice either.... tank pulls every mob until the boss in Copperbell. Took ages to kill.

He then also says "go aoe happy!". It's one thing to pull if we had brd/blm, but another thing to not understand a DPS's strengths/weaknesses

More aoe DPS

Protect used to be where Blizzard 2 was until I realised that SMN use Blizzard 2 for AoE when targets are more than 3. So I copied it! Unrealised potential. I'm happy with this; with shit DPS I can make more DPS. With good DPS I can make some pulls even more faster!

With a low ilvl tank, 1 embrace and psyhick will fully heal them lol.

edit: it's ok, at level 55 I will have an extra slot for protect. Look forward to it!

Or hit Cleric's and then change your cross-class abilities while you wait on everyone to load. Fairy can hold down the fort for 30 seconds while your abilities go on cooldown.

Yeh true, but now that sounds like extra effort when I know I can keep everyone alive haha.

Still lets see; if my party gets desperate I will do what's needed to proceed if there's resistance. But I will make them trust me

Or just mash Miasma 2 instead and keep the Pro. 30 potency difference, is instant unlike losing Bliz2 to dodge stacked aoes, and the pull 'should' be mostly dead by the time you do your 3dot+Bane.

Well in resume so I don't go to long.

Started the game as Sakura Brandford on hyperion in 2.0, left somewhere in 2014 (forgot when) to sargatanas, to join a static hosted by someone on BG that i also played XI with back then. I didn't left hyperion due to drama or anything, but mostly because hyperion is a shit hole for pugs (more then other servers) and hyperion based players can attest to that.

Anyway on Sargatanas (changed my name to Ketchup chips because Sakura Brandford was taken), did coil, passed T9 blah blah had some arguments with the leader in time, nothing big, he threaten to kicked me, i threaten to go back to hyperion after 5-6 months, nothing serious. Until one day I tell the group I want a day off to go play lolDestiny (we were doing 6-9 in 1 day and doing nothing else during the week anyway). Leader didn't like it and kicked me. Since I didn't make any friends (cuz lolfriends with pixels in a MMO) I went back to hyperion.

All was fine on hyperion, still as Ketchup Chips, started talking back to people before i left and all, and I informed them that I was Sakura Brandford, because (lol hiding online). Everything went fine until hunts. history of hunts, was that I pulled A ranks each time my group of 8 got the mob (about 2minutes after it got called) and pulled and S rank when there was enough people present (about 5min after it was called).

Since Hyperion is a place of crybaby, some people started shouting to GM me and all, and the rumor that I changed my name to escape a reputation started (which is false, but you know internet). But I continued doing my shit, because most people that complained were people that either

a) Don't scan and just wait for it to be called)
b) Morons

Most of the time I was on PS4 and still got there before most people, I was called a poshacker and a cheater for using GW when I was on PC (and most people that was calling me a cheater were also using GW (lolmuch).

Anyway it did ruin my reputation because I was getting kicked out of farming groups because people were asking to kick me for (lolearly pulling). At that time I still didn't had T13 wins, because I refused to gimp myself to please other groups. (Tired of people asking me to gimp myself, instead of asking their players to get better) (Aka groups were asking me not to nuke because WHM didn't want to solo heal first part of T13 and all that dumb shit).

So after a bit of not finding a static skills of what I was looking for I started looking on reddit for a group, saying that transfering wasn't an option at the time, but I still found a group on Balmung where I am atm. (Name change again because Ketchup Chips was taken).

The picture that Deathgazer posted, was because I talked to him alot about Balmung before transfering (due to beeing RPhell and all), and even though he asked me no to transfer there (probably because he doesn't wanna be with me </3) I still transfer and we having fun anyway in lolexperts.

As for Patriarch, well he knows that my 'early pull' was fun because it made people bitch online and it made hunts less boring.

If you want to think i left due to hunts feel free, to think that way. (Not like your idea is gonna change anyway) but felt nice to explain the whole way iguess

And in semi-response to multiple posts, rata was always cool in game. Hyperion is full of easily offended players. Every hunt someone has to be a martyr and pull, and regardless of if the hunt mob had been standing there for 15 minutes, the first player to pull the mob is instantly lynch mobbed. Rata took charge and pulled like a champion, and the shit was top tier funny. Outside of hunts, rata was always a decently skilled player for what i saw of him. In the days of First coil, we had a semi static with Rata/myself/Shaano (waka bo), and a few others from here. His reputation is pretty tattered, but if you know him you understand that it isn't 1/10th as bad as it seems.
