All right I haven't complained in a long time about someone being terrible. During the first boss and watching their buffs is what made me say the vomit comment. They were in enochain but Astral fire 1, then Umbral ice 1, then proceeded to eat everything possible the boss could throw at them because Ley Lines is so good (never saw ley lines after this ever again). I was half tempted to put on all my shittier gear to prove a point of when they said "you have better gear" that I would still shit on them no matter what. During their little fit of saying how I'm stupid etc they were locked out of the second boss. Oh well I'll just carry this boss too. After the second boss and where it leads to all those trash mobs, they did fire 2 leading to fire 3 before flaring with half mp. I just can't take it when people are this retarded and argue with it. Went out of my way with 30% left on the last boss to find them a video of an opening rotation that is proper but I am still the idiot ((((((((((((((: I hope they see this and feel stupid one day when others point out their rotation is fucking garbage.

I don't have the logs, but I got into Titan HM this weekend with legitimately new people. The DRG, BRD and NIN proceed to die to everything avoidable and we wiped on the heart because I'm not even sure why. Turns out i90 armor and accessories can't overcome using level 40 vendor weapons, and when pressed they claimed they did the other two hard modes fine. We pointed out they didn't "do fine," they got carried, they complained about being new and not having relics yet. I'm usually sympathetic to misguided newbies but for fuck's sake, you can buy better weapons from other vendors.

Did a Vault over the weekend while leveling PLD to 60. Other party members WHM/NIN/SMN. First pull went slow, but I don't expect much in the DF. Probably would've gone slower, but my wife is running WHM so she's using Holy/Assize to mow things down. Second pull I start noticing things... there's a summoner, so there should be DoTs on everything, but there aren't. I have animations on, I should see the Bane fart cloud, and/or the Painflare explosion. This SMN did not have a pet out, and was not using Aetherflow. I try not to be mean, so I said "Hey, Summoner. Pet? Aetherflow?". He didn't say a word, pulled out a pet, but still didn't Aetherflow. Bonus: I periodically saw the guy use Miasma II back away from all the mobs. A SMN not using Aetherflow may as well not even be there, so I vote kicked them as soon as we reached the 1st boss. I wish I would've noted his name so I could post this piece of garbage's lodestone profile.

Do people this terrible get to these high levels just by grinding FATEs? What in the ever loving fuck. I'm usually okay with carrying bads, but there's a limit and that is WAY under that bar.

You know how on PC it just adds skills to your next available hotbar, and you intuitively just move it where you want it? Well on PS4 its a jumbled mess since only 16 actions are displayed. Actions after 16 you have to r1 tab to even see them. It is also not intuitive at all to move skills around with just a controller.

SE should have let people openly/easily share their UI/bars with others and promote it. Especially on the PS4.

I would relate to that except Aetherflow is one of the first learned actions so it's not like it would be pushed to the backline.

Even then, it should be in a game player's nature to be curious about what all of their new shit does.

L1 adjusts the camera zoom, R3 toggles lockon, there are many situations where you would want to use both of those and it's really goddamn annoying.

You pull up the actions menu, hit square (I think) on the action you want to place then hit buttons to the place you want it. Like R2+Circle etc.

Hold R2 or L2 and push Select (or Share or whatever the Select button is called this generation). That puts you in reassign mode.

When in reassign mode, push the command for the hotbar slot you want (e.g. L2+O), then push the command for the hotbar slot you want to swap it with (e.g. R2+D-pad down).

Push Select again to exit reassign mode.

Ive seen plenty of SMNs do this on the new HW dungeons. I kicked thier ass out of my pt as soon as I dont see dots on all the mobs and the kick timer comes up.

CNJ quests did a decent job, too. "Look, you arrogant little shit, healing is an important duty, but you have to be in tune with all of the elements in order to be good. You shouldn't just go around only healing, use all the tools at your disposal."

I thought the first few quests were terrible at teaching. First you hit some rocks with heavy swing. Then you hit some rocks with uncombod skull sunders. Trying to combo it just gives an error and doesn't let you attack.

gla questline actually had you defending npcs. I remember one of the earlier ones from 1.0 ( which they ported over and dumbed down in 2.0 where you had a dps npc which you had to tank for or else it'd die and you along with it. Though in 2.0 they added the red circles for moves which they didn't have in 1.0
