ya honestly I posted because of how extreme the guy took it. I dont expect people to jump for joy over me having it or anything. I know for a fact I wouldn't remember to take it off and on as is and rather have it on when unnecessary than off when needed because I forgot. (this has happened when I first started coil, so I just leave it.) the sounds in this game are so mild and unobtrusive, if it bothers someone that much they have to respond that way idk what else to do but laugh.

I don't have a sound effect in mine because I have the /p before the skill going off. lol at anyone who would ever want me to change it for their convenience, even if I had it after with a sound effect; That sound effect is so incredibly unintrusive. Personally my silence macro is half for me, it gives me better confirmation that I'm hitting the button.

Myself and 3 others picked up 4 more for an Ifrit HM. The healer died while typing out his hatred for my blunt arrow macro. And then proceeded to give me a 1 last warning or he'd leave. After we found 4 more people, we started again. My first blunt arrow resulted in the new healer saying "Nice macro brah." Never had anyone bitch before, and then it was twice in a row. But seriously, if the sound is that annoying you probably should turn system sounds down.

That remind me of XI's days where people would get incredibly mad when you /checked them. I alway had it filtered because I wouldn't care.

Unintrusive or not, it makes me think something worth my attention is happening every 30s when it isn't, and in fights where there actually IS something that warrants a /p <se> notification it's just distracting.

Also, as I said, just because your /p <se> macro is annoying and unnecessary doesn't mean there aren't other important things in a fight people need to be acutely aware of.

"Hey, can you change your macro so it doesn't have the noise for now?" and
"HOLY FUCK STOP EVERYTHING AND CHANGE THAT YOU STUPID FUCKING ASSHOLE"

I occasionally forget to change mine and it annoys me but I'm not gonna stop doing w/e I am doing in the middle of the fight and change it. I'll do it after (hopefully) but if you are gonna rage over it after 2 hits, I might leave it or make it worse just to piss you off.

i have 2 buttons for my silence. one has /p <se > other has nothing.. I literally drag/drop/swap them when im in coil/out of coil this takes all of 2 seconds

but everyone loves my /p FIREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE <se.10> for plumes/eruptions/anything

I'd rather keep my task bar visible myself. But is there any way to hide just the title bar?

This... I guess could be considered random fail, not sure if using hacks, a bot, or lagging so hard it looks like it or all the above.

I wasn't lagging myself, as you can see at the start, we were all kind of wondering, where the last guy was at.

Hyperion Fury doesn't have BLM, so no. Had to do a double take at that one, he's in my FC.
