The things I do for myth tomes! I really should start ss'ing some of the dimwit DF/PF runs I've been getting lately...

Yesterday I decided to help out some folks with their hard mode fights for relic. I go BLM and since I'm the best geared I'm on LB for nails. First try it's almost to 2 full bars so I'm timing my cast, and they start whining and someone else hits it, and they bitch at me for waiting. Second try I don't wait, it goes off weak, and they bitch at me claiming I did it too early. I get killed by lag & plumes, and they don't raise me for the rest of the fight which takes at least a half hour because their DPS sucks balls.

Then I did a WP run, which we vote abandoned 5 minutes after starting because the tank was a moron.

Then I did a CT run, which have actually been very good to me lately as far as passable groups go. Someone's SCH pet kept running waaaaaaay ahead of everyone on the first leg and aggroing everything in the room and getting people locked out. Then the idiot SCH had the balls to respond to me saying I'm not 'pulling my weight'. After we wiped on the third room and then twice on Bone Dragon, I hit vote abandon which was voted down for some stupid reason. I stuck around until we got to Atomos and wiped twice because that same SCH couldn't stay on his platform. Fuckit, I'd rather sit out for a half hour than run with morons.

FYI: DPS LB damage is based on the average weapon damage of the whole PT, doesn't matter who executes.

Or, as Seravi put it in the DRG thread...

Therefore in a party with multiple users of LB, the least-geared or lowest DPS member should be the user ideally.

You lose the least amount of DPS by having your shittiest player use it.

Did a DF Ultima yesterday since none of my FC were on and ran into this dude. Garlen is 1 of the PLDs, Nose is the other. 1st attempt actually went well except the BRD just went afk during Magitek Bits/4 ships part and then it all went to hell. Garlen's response was pretty hilarious ... never seen anyone COMMAND to get kicked to circumvent the 30 min lockout lol. He ended up mpking the group for the next 10 or so minutes before we finally Vote Abandoned. Thing is, the group was actually decent and could have done it if not for the "I will make it hell in here if you f up" nonsense pissing people off.

Yeah more meant the Titan-Egi. Still engaged summons poof real fast in turn 3 due to the funky distances and engage mechanics. It's funnier to think it was used in Turn 2 though.
