Allagan casting earrings are purple(not sure about the rest), Allagan STR/tank stuff are yellow. Not sure it applies past crafted/aetherial accessories.

The colors only apply to the crafted gear, which becomes plainly obvious when you look at the color of the gemstones required to make them. If you want to look at the colors the Allagan accessories use, it's easy enough to see on xivdb's little icons (aiming/healing blue, striking/fending yellow, maiming/casting purple). Hero's/Primal accessories are all identical regardless of type.

Found this in a Haukke HM. Can't really tell here but Ring2 is Fending.

Literally did not know how to play his job. I am serious. I point out to bad DRGs that they should apply Heavy Thrust. He did not know what that was. When I told him, he spammed it 10 times from the rear and was like "flank is back?". Didn't use the rear combo that much either, and was generally bad at keeping up Heavy Thrust.

I just don't know where to begin.
1) That this guy himself did not think "maybe DRG is more than True > Vorpal > Full".
2) The excuse he gave "none of my friends told me how to play DRG".
3) That he somehow accrued enough Myth/CT to get all of that gear, and FUCKING NOBODY called him out on how bad he is.
4) That this is pretty much the audience SE is marketing the game to.

I think SE has large shoulders on that one, not whiteknighting them but the playerbase is terrible to begin with. I never encountered so many twats in a so little amount of time.

So, before voting him out, you had E-moment bonding? Usually withing the first fucks up, I temp log out or that person gets voted out, but I don't know about having E-moments or explaining someone how to their job is going to make a difference.

This is very true, I already expect the crap this game has to offer. However, I choose to deal with it and not cry about it like some. If the day comes, I can't handle the twats then I will quit. LOl

In hindsight this is the kind of thing that probably allowed this guy to get as far as he did. I'm an enabler. Whoopee.

Although it's similar to FFXIV, WoW, by far, does better in term of inclusion and yet satisfying the hardcore players at the same time. Virtually all raid contents have 3 level of difficulty LFR(easiest), Normal(casual), and Heroic (hardcore), and what was featured in the video was LFR, which drops shit gear, not even close to what heroic gears has to offer, all the people who go in LFR are mostly casual and it's my $15 people. If the same thing were to happen in FFXIV, imagine Coil T1-5 easy mode but only drop i70 gears so people can see the cutscene and shit at the end of twintania fight.

After doing a titan HM as gladiator/brd/schx6, we went into a CT yesterday as gladiator, marauder, smnx4, schx2 to have some fun but not be assholes. Doing our shit, but healers everywhere slacking and one of these other groups is apparently horrendous. Eventually we get to Atomos, where they wipe 2 maybe 3 times in a row or something. Eventually on the next time we go down about the same time as them, but definitely after both their were healers died. Then they start raging about how we're trolling and refuse to participate until we leave. Eventually all of the third group leaves, gets replaced, and then a vote abandon passes.

Never have I seen a harder case of denial and savefacing from a group of people, lol. We even gave them all our summoners summons to attack their Atomos one round, but they still managed to wipe.

Joined a PF Titan EX group. Comment said they needed an experienced DPS -- mostly all from the same FC. Became pretty evident that none of them knew what the fuck they were doing and the last two wipes happened before the first jump. They ended the party with this bullshit excuse as to why they died on the first set of plumes:

That was my old FC leaders excuse for everything. Before they could clear T4 we would set 3 hour events inwhich we would practice. After 3-4 attempts and wipes, here would come the "Yeah I'm calling the event. There's no focus and we're just wasting time dying." I've since left them but now the same excuse is and continues onto Ex primals from what my friends still tell me.
