Was doing T2 coil and this SCH was buttmad about my gear (i74) the whole entire run. I think someone pissed in his cereal this morning. We still won but this was the hilarity that ensued throughout the run. :D

If you came in as dps with titan weapon I might make a snide remark poking fun, but it wouldn't be a big deal. Healer though? Can do that in lvl 40 whites and still pull it off. Guy's just being a dick for no reason.

It's ridiculous anyway. People were clearing 1-4 in the mid 60's at release without Echo buff. I think when we started Coil I had Relic and a mix of AK/DL gear so probably around i65 ish if it had told us back then. And I was tank so there was more of a gearcheck on me.

So i74 with echo buff is waaaaaaaay higher than that.

Most people actually clearing coil 1-4 were at least ilvl 70. Your words are false!

I think I was i82 or i83 when I cleared Twintania and that was like November but I was probably i70 i69* when I first started Coil, not sure if that'd be my first Caduceus clear though. (I'm somewhat skeptical)

In order to be i65 you'd have to be rocking nearly full Hoplite. That's assuming you're using whatever Relic you made while attuning for Coil (not even Zentih, just NQ).

I found screenshots for an exact number for my first T1 clear!

That's Relic + 1 Myth piece + mostly DL and i55 body + hoplite ring.

The amount of people who don't read party finder is truly astonishing. Then they get upset when I boot them from my party for not reading my party finder. It's my fault that they don't meet my standards...? I've even had some people I've told to fuck off /t someone else to /t me to ask if they can join my party. Why is my PF in particular so amazing that people will go to such lengths? Anyway, my T5 PF reads as such:

Turn 5 Greed Farm - Pick 1 item per chest (<insert reserved item here if applicable>). Link 2 Allagan weapons upon joining party, including the one for the job you joined on.

I really like that people on your blacklist are unable to join your party finder if you are the host.

Had a time where was farming t5, a whm kept joining and clearly is what was holding us back. Told them they can farm in the future when they have cleared. Gave them 3 times of joining/kicking before I was blisted along with called a douche etc. Shit got annoying and now sitting here with all drops 1-5 to not deal with any coil shit anymore unless friends need help.

I'll blist for pretty much anything, including emoting too much near me while I happen to be looking at the screen.

There's enough people on every server, I figure the chances of me blisting someone I'll actually have to give a shit about on any given day is very, very low.

Brayflox roulette: WAR, WHM, BRD, DRG. WAR opens with "No big pulls cos no blm." Pulls the first half of the dungeon in groups of 2 or 3 before realising DRGs have aoes.

I ended up having the same thing happen to me on Saturday. Had just finished killing off the Fire Sprite and had run over to light the smoke alongside the SMN and WHM, and was telling the gladiator to bring it over so we could finish. He wasn't listening at all and continued beating it down, so we said to just let him die so it'd come over. He started popping his defensive cooldowns and used a pot part of the way through, but after the efts started spawning again, he got overwhelmed and eventually died, though as soon as he did, he shot back to the entrance and tried to rush the turtle to pull hate off me again.

Gil turtle actually went smooth for me when we did it for the clear.

The one bad experience I had with Guildhests involved the goddamned bubbles one. Had a BLM who wouldn't attack the bubbles at all, so I'm doing what I can on SCH to cover it, and the Archer is also basically sitting with his thumb up his ass. We get about six or seven slimes, I can't keep them all at bay, so we wipe. As soon as he rezzes, he runs right back in and starts attacking the slimes. Since they're all linked, he pulls them all to us, we all die again. He rezzes and then does it again.
