I had the same experience, had something like 60-70 losses (i don't even remember anymore, it was a big number) on titan ex, some before the echo and a bunch after. Almost never tanks' fault in all those losses (since all but like 3 groups never made it to jailers!), and most of them would never actually kick anyone and instead folks would just all drop (maybe they reformed, idk/idc pissed).

I got really fucking lucky to find some FC group that just needed one tank; they were pushing some of their FC through the fights apparently. 25% echo later, we got a damn win. I only joined since it didn't have a douche PF comment, and they were actually pretty friendly about the losses. Phase rushing totally kills these fights; we had 1 dps down with 25% echo and things went smoother. Stayed with them for another titan win and two ifrits to finally complete that fucking quest.

This weekend in CT, some SMN stood next to the lava in the Allagan Bomb room with Ifrit out over the lava.

Spent another night wiping to Titan. Friend who was recently saying they're not even interested in clearing T5 got carried by their FC completely blind. Joined a Titan group at 9:30pm last night and then wiped twice in six minutes. DPS was completely unable to kill gaols, SMN died to first weights every time (with delicious lag, too, since their body always fell quite a ways from Titan) and the other tank would wait for Titan to walk back up to me after Geocrushes and start throwing punches to provoke.

Told them if we can't make it past the first gaols on our third try I'm not raging out on them but I was just going to log and go to bed. We proceed to then make it past gaols with no deaths only for everyone to 'tard out on bombs/landslide. One healer went off the edge, I took 3 MBs and died and then just called it. In a similar way to what was said above, I hope they blacklisted me so I never have to see them again.

Oh, and I saw my third instance of "idiot who I spent hours wiping with this weekend is now putting together an Ifrit learning party." I feel completely unable to progress right now and it's making me just want to quit, which is retarded because it isn't even current content. Seeing all of the T6 parties looking for people is killing me and I can't believe I'm debating just fucking buying my Twin kill.

Twin kill should come easy, but Titan right now I can say is at least 5 times harder to get a kill now then when they were released. I beat Titan the second week and got all the weapons but two, so the other week I started the quest line... Wow, people are so terrible at the fight now it's depressing. I was honestly debating telling one group to just stay spread out eat one plume at full echo and heal through it.

Titan is rough right now for real. Was in one yesterday that got it 5% then every attempt after someone important (like a tank) would eat a rando landslide and get chucked off. Did a brayflox and the whm couldn't understand how to esuna poison. Tank has 4 stacks on him and the healer is claiming he can't see shit. Apparently doesn't know where debuffs are when targetting someone, and couldn't see poison via the party list either. Normally I'd give them a break, this is the first place in the game where they have to deal with this shit. But they had a 50 scholar. "I've never run into an issue with poison before", "2 level 50s, one a scholar", "never had to worry about poison".

I didn't say anything, but I was thinking to myself "Who the fuck cares, aren't you both going to stand in front of it?" but no, apparently people solo-tank hydra now because their HP is enough to eat a solo Triumvirate now.

I bet most of the people going through that fight now don't even know that Triumvirate damage is spread between everyone hit. Heck, I bet they don't even know about Triumvirate period. Probably just like "oh look, the tank took a big hit there."

It's not different than going war without defiance except you can probably put our more numbers. If it was some dude in DL or less I'd probably be like what the fuck, but someone consistently doing 2nd coil turns and the gear to go with, I'd be more understanding.

Since there exist tanks who can solo tank it, they're now standard. Put a fresh 50pld in there with a fresh 50war and let them try to ignore the mechanic: That's a wipe, presumably followed by whining DPS with welfare i90 and zenith weapons bitching about the tanks sucking and nobody bothering to explain the error before either dismissing or just kicking.
