Had a DF Hydra recently where the MT actually knew about splitting damage, so he asked the OT to stack with him. He was ignored, so he asked again, and again, and again... probably like 30 times in total throughout the entire run while the OT just ignored him and stayed behind the boss the entire run.

MT was barely over 5k, OT was under 5K, so I just stacked on the MT on DRG and ate it with him since it was almost 1 shotting him at time if he took it solo. I can only imagine the rest of the group being like "look at dis stoopd drg standin in all teh stuffs".

Had another run where I got bitched at for "wasting the LB" when I used melee LB3 on him. One healer dead, the other is alive but no swiftcast so the tanks died while he tried to raise, which meant everyone else died and we wiped. My fault, of course.

I remember being bitched at for melee LB3ing the mrd moogle that wasn't being tanked and mostly painting the middle of arena with the moogle-go-round, 3 people dying to it. My pleas to tank the thing ignored of course.

Spin to win is the way to go! Even in darklight gear a regen is enough to keep you alive.

We would just solo heal(in cleric stance mostly) that back in the day with a solo tank, any melee we told to stand back and only fight wyverns lol.

Decided to try & gear up my BRD a little the Coil way starting with T1 because it could be good for my static and as I am working on my Bravura Animus I am saving myths.

So I got in a DF party & one guys stated straight that he was new (MNK), on top he was FR and his english wasn't that great. People & their SR mania decided to rush things to the golems w/o really explaining what it was about. The guy did not ask yes but still what happened after was funny..

The MNK decided to attack the trash on the way & killed 3 others members.

Omondieu Acide is one of the tank telling him off in FR and telling him to watch shits on youtube.. I mean, now you have to watch youtube just to see how to SR? fucking lol..

I mean ok it was pretty stupid from the MNK to join with a mix of CT/Militia gear & some iLv90 Myths accessories mixed in, but the retardation of some people to react that way is beyond limit & understanding, especialy for wiping on trash mobs..

In my FFXI time people used to laugh at that.. Ok we lost 3 mins of our time and 5k exp but that was it, now people cry like wet divas as if you beaten their mom to death for 3 mins.. so retarded.

But the people I've done Turn 1 with always seem to want to sac-pull up to the golems. I mean, really? It takes like what, an extra 30 seconds to kill all that shit, and if the sac pull goes wrong because someone doesn't know what's going on or because a fairy got left out, how much more time are you wasting having to do it again?

Same with the Dullahan sac in AK before Demon Wall. You go in, you've killed 6 Dullahans already, why not just kill the 7th one and be done with it? I get that the tank doesn't need to be unweakened for the fight because you can't tank Demon Wall (lulz) but at least he'll have better DPS? And if someone fucks up, guess what, gonna have to do it again if you sac'ed.

I know this is BG and we're all about hyper-optimization here but pragmatically speaking, some of these choices seem like poor gambles.

Like any old curmurdgeon, I blame Reddit and the mob mentality. People who were capable figured out WP speedruns. They posted how they did it, and the entire delusional community of tryhards latched on. It's why the truly excellent groups run Brayflox faster than PF "speedrun" groups can finish Twoflox. It isn't enough to be the right job, you have to excel at it to stand out.

Try explaining that to anyone in a group, though, and it's "I WATCHED THE VIDEOS I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING" and pushback. There's no real reason to sac the trash in T1, especially with echo and current gear standards, other than to "speed run" and risk someone not familiar with it fucking it up so you can rage at the n00b who isn't as gifted as you clearly are.

Yeah that kind of attitude is really like shooting yourself in the feet.. The party disbanded just because that fucktard gimp SCH decided to be a little bitch and ragequit. In the party next I found 2 of the 7 other ppl who were there and things went smooths. no BRD drops tho .-.

Did this motherfucker just pay 600k per Leviathan run to be the sole person on mirror? Like, did he spend 1.8m just for 3 random Levi wins? If it's 2% that means 30 mil+/-statistics for an i100 weapon, lol, now that's some fail.

Also no for the random fail title :S someone posted something much better back in the time, someone saying something like "I make shit like you every day in the toilets" was pretty lolworthy.

Edit: It was "I can create all players like you in the toilet every days" page 50-51 of this thread.
