had this yesterday whm and brd both new to Qarn (whm was 37 bard was 49) i told them what to do but they didn't seem to grasp it so i told the bard to watch what i was doing (also on bard) once he did that things started to get moving a little quicker

Not when I've done it. God forbid you ever ask a Brd to do a Requiem or suggest a Blm start with a Fire III rather than building up to Astral III with regular Fires. I would say a good 90% of the people that I've "offered advice" to, no matter how nice or sugar-coated I make it, take it as an insult to their playing abilities and dismiss the advice immediately.

Im horrified at my first semi-endgame DF randoms experience... Duty Finder'ed solo for Garuda HM after talking it over with my FC and watching a youtube walkthrough. I'm not amazingly geared with how infrequently and casually I play this game, but the other tank had an Aetheryte Ring (crafting gear) and a +CP wristlet. Also no one felt like avoiding Tornados for some dumb reason. We wiped 3 times, everytime it was once we reached the tornadoes phase, then disbanded.

Garuda died, after 2-3min i tell her politly that her garuda is dead (SMN is like I80-I85)

She said it's fine all garuda does is random wind attacks. So it won't be too much of a DPS lost if she doesn't resummon her. And that anwyay she would lose DPS if she has to resummon her
