If you're going to put that much time and effort into something, why in the actual fuck would you half ass it and not go for what gives the biggest performance increase in the end? A tiny increase might be tiny, but better is better either way regardless of how small it is.

Is it better? Always? I feel like it's not inconceivable to imagine an accuracy situation where having an extra 11 might free up the possibility to gain more in other areas. And I mean yeah skill speed sucks currently for dragoons but who knows how they might change it in the future.

The war axe is all over the place with secondaries but it's not like he put spell speed on there.

Roommate points out to me moving onto Zhu that he's likely a gilseller and when I ask why, she asks me if I've noticed he's casting Cure to heal me. I noticed Galv going up, but that was because he was running up to me to pop succor.

He also expressed surprise at the not!boss right before Siren, didn't get an exploration achievement and was just generally... weird. Fucking Pharos. I think he was just a confused idiot who doesn't speak good english, but I've got a soft spot for idiots who seem helpless.

At first I thought hunts would just be Treasure Maps 2.3.

Then it surpassed even my worst expectations and became zone-wide NM camping with no way to track down the NM and with the potential for it to spawn and be killed in a 30 sec window with you being none the wiser.

Helped a friend with SToQ who needed it for his book and another friend tagged along. We get a random DRG who delivered a somewhat subpar performance, but since it's a low-level dungeon, we don't really care since we fool around a little due to role-swaps, as I usually tank. I then d/c some time after the second boss, but it doesn't cause a wipe or anything to that extent. I'm in the process of logging in, taking a minute at most, when my friends on Teamspeak tell me that the DRG just initiated a vote to kick me, unaware of the fact that the three of us are from the same server, let alone on voicechat.

That's what we usually do, but if I disconnect in the middle of a fight and the vote-kick is initiated pretty much as soon as I'm kicked out of the game, we enter uncomfortably unfriendly territory. Personally, I really don't mind waiting for people, disconnects happen, but if someone can't be bothered to do the same and wait even a minute after dragging the party down for almost half an hour, then I start feeling less inclined to be around that particular individual.

I certainly agree that it wasn't the nicest thing to do considering there's no ingame-option to kick members who don't perform as well as they should or people I don't like. Considering that it was a "dick move" he tried to pull as well, I didn't really mind at the time, though I agree that my solution may be deemed questionable, even though he most certainly was an ass.
