I just want the Clinton plan back. /sigh

Your caps lock key seems to have broken.
You may want to address this issue.
I too want the America back where I could own slaves and get to vote because I'm a white male landowner.

Spoiler: show
Jon Stewart did damn good interview with Nancy Pelosi about corruption and role of money in politic.

Just in time for the next debt ceiling hostage taking 1 month from now.
I love when he suggested he should ask the senate minority leader when she said she didn't know something.
I hated in that interview how she just kept trying to make it out as if money and lobbyists arnt fucking up both sides of the aisle and the entire system. It was a lot of "Well the repubs love to take that money, but us Demos dont!"...bullshit. There are a few i'm sure on both sides that don't take a piece of that pie, but so many fucking do on either side. So fucking sick of this "The other side is the problem waaah wahh!" system. Wish we had 3+ parties....
So that we had a 3rd party to bitch about? Hmm.
We need to remove money from politics, but that will never happen. So I think it's time to burn it all down instead.
It should be fucking treason to take money(and any other gifts or gratuities) from lobbyists/corporate interests/pretty much anyone, if you're a politician. But again, that will never happen, so grab your torches instead.
I agreed with Waraji. A third party is just a panacea. Why would a third party be any different than the other two? They still need money to participate in politics. Why would a third party not care about maintain power once they gain power? It is really easy to wish for this imaginary third party because it doesn't exist and never will. The reason we have two parties is because of the winner-take-all system of government we have, not because of money, or lobbying or anything else.
A third party would just split the votes of one of the original two parties, letting the other win uncontested.
Can we just no longer consent to be governed? That works right?
Just about to ragequit life lol. My shitty job just cut my hours by half to avoid paying part time employees health insurance. That is certainly making things better for me. Still no health insurance, now with half the work hours! Fuckin gg.
Doesn't the employer mandate not start till like 2015?
Not really sure, have not kept up with the legislation at all. My job has cut hours of part time employees nationwide by half already though, from what I've read, and seen based on my own and other part-timers schedules.

Yeah, I work at staples as a pc repair tech, yeah I did say it was a crappy job. Just doing it part time while I finish my programming degree. Still though, even being already part time and shitty wages, this has cut my previously shitty paychecks in half.
And to be clear, no I don't blame the legislation. I blame the company I work at for being so god damned shitty that they would cut hours instead of provide health insurance for employees. I guess it was to be expected though. Mandate health insurance for people at 30+ hours a week, just hire twice as many people at 15-20 hours a week and no worries man.
And yea that article mentions the mandate doesn't start til 2015.
Ah I see this is why employers are preemptively fucking their employees:
http://news.investors.com/politics-o...#ixzz2sWVrIA3WBecause fines in 2015 will be based on staffing levels in the second half of 2014 — at the latest — employers have little time to adjust.
