He was +8.5 total, including his +3.5 rushing - but yeah that should be tied for 10th on the list.

I tweeted at the guy who runs it to get a correction for you.

Also, we witnessed one of the greatest edge rusher games together, the Clay Matthews dismantling of Kolb, and then Vick week 1 of 2011.

Why can't I just break down NFL stats for a living, instead of getting paid 6 bills a day to do it for free on the internet while I should be working?

Cherry pick stats more archie. You are better than this. His highest TD (36, which is more than Palmers btw), just happened to be the same season that Brady threw for 50 TDs.

Palmer isn't even as good as Romo, let alone "better than he'll ever be."

Ah okay yeah I had looked at that link and just saw that he was +8.5 with them later on mentioning his +3.9 rushing, so I assumed that wasn't included in the 8.5.

The point is that before his clearly career-changing injury, Palmer was as good as Romo at his best (leading the fucking Bengals to 11 wins with a passer rating over 100 while leading the NFL in TDs and completion %) and it was only his 2nd season.

Clearly the post-injury Carson Palmer is not as good as Romo, but we're talking pre-injury.

Romo's 36 TDs would be more impressive if they weren't such a result of rampant gunslinging - he threw 19 INTs that year too...which in another year would've been the most INTs in a season.

    Which year you ask?

Oh, 2012, when Romo lead the league in INTs with 19.

If you can't even get a 2:1 TD/INT ratio, it's hard to rave about your season in the modern NFL. Romo's not even 2:1 for his career.

It's kinda funny - when you look at the best 7-season comp for Romo...

Milt Plum, Aaron Brooks, Drew Brees, Carson Palmer

In Romos defence, he's only 1 TD away from being having that 2:1 ratio lol

    Also, Palmer pre-injury wasn't even 2:1

Yeah, he had a "beat up the rookie" year, and then a 32:12 year, and then a terrible injury. It's called projection.

He had 2 more season after that 32:12, a 28:13 and a 26:20, after his amazing year he started to decline.

Comparing Palmer stats from 1 year and projecting it over the course of career as if he would keep it up. Lol.

    Higher %
    high passer rating
    9 less TDs
    42 less ints

All in a season less of work.

Should compare Romo to shit ass tom bardy tbh

Let me know when Romo's good enough to lose two Superbowls to Eli Manning.
