oh dear lord, someone shut the windows
Don't really care about how great of a single season Derek Anderson had tbh, though. Derek Anderson was a one-year wonder. Where is he now? Maybe if he went to the same store Kurt Warner did to bag groceries, he could come back to lead the Cards to the Super Bowl.
oh god just remembered he did play for the Cards. noooDream is dead.
(Sorry to dredge this up a couple pages late, wasn't here really yesterday to come back D: )
TB benching Freeman for Mike Glennon.
My brother is a life-long Oakland fan (yes, what a pathetic duo we turned out to be, after all that early 80's domination) and I told him that this weekend's Skins game will be the first of the season that I'll fully watch.
Either the Skins will win and I'll watch because of that, or the Raiders, which I still support through him, will win. For once, I can't lose. I think I've watched all of maybe two total quarters of Skins football this year. I don't have the patience to put up with their "just enough effort to barely lose" bullshit this year, and they've done nothing over the last 20 years to ensure any sort of trust in them that they have the capacity to come back each week and win.
And no, one 7-game run in a single season does nothing to restore that trust. One time out of 20 is a goddamn aberration, not an indication of true change.
PFF guy tweeted me back that Vick's +8.5 score has come down to a +6.3 since then. "we renormalized QB scores at the start of 2010"
Josh Freeman just got benched for a really white looking guy.
after this year schiano can come back to RUTGERS
as defensive coordinator
London games are actually being shown live on one of the major channels this year. Nothing like two 0-3 teams to capture the public imagination!
I just want to thank Jerry Jones for firing Rob Ryan.
Jerry Jones, making Saints fans happy since 2006 for letting Payton walk.
