They really stepped it up this season. I'm glad Fox allowed them to do a continuing story instead of the problem of the week format.

I liked the beginning but a lot of this episode felt silly and forced to me. I had to ff through some of the dialog. Everything involving the kids especially.

still dont think they needed to include allusions to bruce becoming batman at all, just leave that shit out, the people that watch the show know bruce wayne turns into batman, they dont need a 4+ season training montage

Nigma's fall is probably the best thing the show has going for it at the moment. Penguin stuff is close, but I guess we can rejoice that his mother's gone now. Evil Mayor plot is pretty zzz since it seems like he's got the villain equivalent of plot armor at the moment.

Yeah I say that because of what we're getting is shitty. I thought the whole point of the show was Gotham before Batman. Wouldn't hear me complaining about Bruce. I imagined Bruce Wayne didn't do a whole lot of shit IN Gotham before he became Batman.

I'm fine with the actors that play Bruce and Alfred. My problem is that their story line are waste of time because the development is super slow. Yeah I know Bruce doesn't become Batman for few years but he's been nothing but whinny pussy this entire time. We had him spend entire 1st season doing nothing and now he's just getting casual boxing lessons from Alfred. I did not expect him to go full training mode but yeah he's like 14 so I guess my hopes were he'd be dipping his feet into something. In my mind he'd be developing his obsession faster and getting more focused.
