I never liked Bulbasaur (and its 2 evos).... a bit too out of shape to be considered battle worthy in my mind when it comes to my immersion.
In fact, I was pleasantly surprised at how they made Rhyhorn and Rhydon battle. It's a lot more well animated than I expected given their shape.

I liked Ash's Bulba; just never cared for Ivy/Venusaur or other bulbas
